Job Description:
Station Agents promote and sell air travel with American Eagle and American Airlines, prepares itineraries, computes fares, issues refunds, prepares and issues tickets, check baggage and collects excess baggage charges in accordance with tariff rules. Agents are responsible for answering inquiries regarding general travel information. Agents perform duties in the departure lounges or at boarding gates when enplaning and deplaning passengers.

Station Agent also escort passengers from the terminal to and from aircraft ensuring a safe path at all times. Additionally, Station Agents complete all necessary arrangements for accommodating passengers with reservations, stand-bys, luggage, cabin availability and in-flight supplies. Determines flight close-out times and prepares, completes and checks various flight forms for accuracy.

Station Agents perform the loading and unloading of cargo on and off aircraft, transport cargo between terminals and aircraft; physical handling of freight and company material, clean and service cabin interiors, including cockpit, lavatories and draining lavatories. Station Agents also provide guideman functions, use X-ray equipment and other safety related equipment and provides de-icing service to the aircraft when needed. At some locations, Station Agents may be required to drive a bus with excess of 25 passengers to and from the terminal.

Some record keeping and report writing is required
- Scheduling instructors for group exercise classes
- Making sure all classes are covered by the most qualified instructor
- Coordinating with programs and services manager to ensure personal trainers are instructing the required number of group exercise classes

Forecasting & replenishment:

- Maintain store forecasting and replenishment system (Enterprise) including but not limited to the items below
- Item maintenance by store
- Forecast / order parameters by store
- Maintain lead times, safety stock, sku class, and forecast calendar
- Identify and manage store stock outs (create service level reporting at the store level)
- Monitor and follow up on changes to demand forecast & special indexes
- Work with regional management to create a core sku selection
- Handle store manager support and Q&A on orders
- Accountabilities to include management of store customer service rates / levels, and working capital goals by establishing correct target inventory levels and developing processes to create optimal suggested replenishment orders
- Develop system to identify and dispose of aged inventory in a cost effective manner
- Work with the sales team and Marketing to effectively manage made to order products (MTO'S) and specials
- Interact with Supply Chain functions in reconciliation of detailed to aggregate forecasts and planned inventory changes at the store level.

- Manage store cycle count program via Enterprise
- Manage store inventory in transit accounts
- Perform inventory restock reviews by Region / Zone
- Field training for store employees with special emphasis on inventory management / control. The training would include, but not be limited to cycle counts, weekly / monthly paperwork, store organization, physical inventory, and managing the suggested order process
- Perform detailed inventory management reviews at high risk stores. Report findings of the reviews to Store Group Managers. Set timeline for prompt follow up to correct inventory control deficiencies. Stores to be revisited again to ensure the proper controls and administrative procedures have been corrected.
- Ensure company wide compliance of inventory "Best Practices" document. Compliance of the items outlined in the document will be reviewed during store visits.
- Analyze inventory management reports to identify potential inventory deficiencies
- Assist in the performance of interim physical counts on poor performing stores based on most recent physical results.
- Improve working capital through store personnel use of current available tools (ie.suggested order, excess inventory reports etc.)
- Develop additional system tools and reporting to improve working capital and increase inventory turns
- Oversee the operation of selling aging product with the best possible financial return through existing stores and / or "outlet" locations.
- Control inventory loss as a result of product aging. Create and monitor program for discontinued inventory disposition.
- Assist in the physical inventory process & training meetings
- Manage product recalls
- Handle store manager support and Q&A on processes
- Other tasks assigned by manager

Cross functional support:

- Creation of ad hoc reports as needed
- Assistance with Marketing promotions
- Assist with defining stocking list (core and non core items)
- Assist in defining DC stocking strategy and stores replenishment network
