Teacher's Assistant (Abilene)

Small and busy child care is in need of a firendly Teacher's Assistant.
Essential duties will include:
Preparing the daily program under the direction of the group teacher.
Assisting in preparing the learning environment, setting up interest centers, and preparing needed materials and supplies.
Assists in supervision of playground to ensure safety of children.
Supervises the classroom when the teacher is out of the room.
Maintains a professional attitude and loyalty to the school at all times.
Treats all children with dignity and respect.
Assists the teacher as requested.
Requirements include:
Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood or Child Development is a plus!
Must have previous working experience with young children.
Candidate must be a sensitive and mature individual who is able to relate well to both children and adults.
