• Design, implement, and maintain an internal system to manage, schedule, and track each client to ensure they are receiving the correct service for their assign “service platform” – both new and existing clients. This will include tracking meetings, phone calls, time records, etc.

• Assign all portfolio administration issues (i.e. new investment account setup, asset transfers, journals, MoneyLinks, etc.) in written “task” form to Portfolio Administrator.

• Implement investment allocations for new clients based on the client’s investment policy (IP) utilizing portfolio models approved by Cornerstone’s Investment Committee and directly communicate with clients regarding portfolio strategies

• Monitor existing client investment portfolios on a quarterly basis. Re-balance portfolios when necessary based on the client’s IP utilizing portfolio models approved by Cornerstone’s Investment Committee

• Develop, coordinate and/or maintain long-term relationships with professional partners (i.e. CPA’s, Attorneys, Insurance Agents, etc.) and third party service providers (mortgage originators, banks, etc.)

• Develop and supervise plans to outsource work outside of Cornerstone’s core expertise to professional partners

• Strategize and share financial planning ideas with planning staff

• Special project assignments assigned by Business Manager

We have a full time position available for a “Financial Planning Specialist”. Standard hours are 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday – Friday, with one hour of break time (lunch, etc.) during the day; however the nature of this position may require time outside of standard hours. The salary is negotiable, dependent upon demonstrated ability and previous experience in creating, implementing and monitoring Financial Plans. Salary structure consists of a base salary plus a bonus tied to total revenue. The bonus is paid on a monthly basis. Health Insurance and a 401-K are also available.
Mission
In the dynamic and challenging role as, “Financial Planning Specialist”, you will be responsible for doubling the number of client meetings from 10 to 20 per month by independently and accurately preparing Financial Physicals, Financial Masterpiece Plans, and Financial Masterpiece Progress Builders. In addition, you will constantly evaluate, improve and document changes to our current financial planning systems and processes in order to increase client satisfaction, productivity, accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Direct Reports
At this point you will be the only Financial Planning Specialist and will report to the President. You will have the opportunity to manage additional Financial Planning Specialists in the future, when additional staff is required.
Responsibilities and Activities
1. Create The Financial Physical™, The Financial Masterpiece Plan™, and The Financial Masterpiece Progress Builder™ for existing clients to be presented by the Senior Advisor or an Associate Advisor.
a. Completes research necessary, and collaborates with outside experts in order to develop appropriate recommendations for our clients.
2. Obtain all data and information necessary to create plans for Senior Advisor or Associate Advisor by participating in some client meetings, review of file notes, and discussion with clients via email and telephone.
3. Own the implementation of client plans via The Financial Masterpiece Implementor.
4. Utilizes Junxure Client Management Software to document and manage all work.
5. Serves as a point of contact to service new and existing clients.
6. Assists in the creation of content for the monthly TV show, The Financial Planning Forum.
7. Provide training and support to team members.
8. Completes the 6 Most planning worksheet before leaving the office each day.
