Single mom desperately needing housing (Akron)
Hello my name is Maggie and I'm a single mother of a 5 year old daughter. I'm a full time UA student, not employed, on a very low fixed income. I'm currently in a situation where I have an eviction ( details can be provided in person or over phone, not a payment issue though) for monday and I have no where to go. Unfortunately my daughter and I are all the family we have, I have no one to turn to for help or a place to stay for a little while. The shelters are full, I have a little over a hundred dollars until the first, selling what I can on here to help, and still no where to go. What little bit of things we do have to claim for our own I'm in fear of losing for the amount of time it took me to get it already plus having to start over. I'm a very good tenant, have lived at this apartment for 4 years now and no complaint. Have always paid my debts and have stayed to myself. I'm at a loss of what to do, with no car to go no where, I'm in fear of losing my child and not giving her a good holiday season. I receive welfare of $355 a month along with child support. I am willing to take whatever is offered to me at this point so long as I have a place for us. I will not recieve any more money until Dec. 1 at which time I will be able to pay what you are asking for rent. I will also, sometime before Christmas, be receiving a student aid award as well where at which time I would be able to pay all past dues, if deposit was waived temporarily, and even pay in advance a few months rent just to stay ahead and on top of things. Mind you, again, it would only be a week that where I would only have around $150, then on the 1st I can pay rent, and I can pay the deposit when I get my school money. I can promise you will not regret deciding to have me as your tenant. I know how to keep my house clean and in good working condition so you would have no worries of your property. I really do not know how to even begin so I will just type what is in my head. My name is Kristina. I am a mother of 4 beautiful children 2 girls Tessa 17 months and Lexi 9 weeks, and 2 boys Jordan 9 and Jason 8. She has Fibromyalgia, it is a chronic condition characterized by widespread pain in your muscles, ligaments and tendons, as well as fatigue and multiple tender points (places on your body where slight pressure causes pain.) My fiance is 22 years old and a smoker. I am 20 years old and a non-smoker. We may be expecting a little one, which is one of the main reasons we would like to find a place to call our own. My current lease ends on the 30th, I am in desperate need of a new house by the first and have had no luck currently.
I have two roommates, we all have excellent past land lord references, and are proud to say we have never been late on rent, we have receipts to prove.
We have two dogs, both house trained, one is fourty pounds, the other is twenty, both house trained.
We are looking around the Akron area. We have deposit and first month rent ready for the 1st.

Please help (everywhere at the moment)
My boyfriend and I just lost our home and are currently living out of our car. Due to the constant moving around it is very hard to find a job, and we are currently out of money. Its starting to get cold out there at night, if someone could please help we would be so greatful. He is a professional chef and would love to cook and supply food, he can also do minor repairs/maintenance. I would be more than happy to clean. This would be temporary just until we could find a job quickly and afford a first months rent somewhere. We also have a kitten who is litter trained and is very very laid back and well behaved.
