As a Corporate Recruiter with FirstEnergy you will perform full-cycle exempt recruiting for a Fortune 250 electric utility company in northeast Ohio.
Responsibilities include:
• Partner with hiring managers to determine staffing objectives by studying organization plans and position requirements.
• Develop sourcing strategies designed to identify qualified candidates through various recruiting sources and tools.
• Determine candidate qualifications by developing knowledge, skill, and screening questions for each position to ensure placement of top talent within our organization.
• Conduct phone screens, interviews, and employee benefit overviews.
• Refer qualified candidates to hiring managers and coordinate their travel with the administrative staff.
• Present employment offers by selling organization values, strengths, and opportunities.
• Negotiate all final salary and benefit terms with candidates.

• Maintain relationships with business networks and professional organizations to gain knowledge and obtain referrals.

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business or related field.
• Full cycle recruiting experience for exempt positions a plus.
• Experience staffing sales and marketing positions in the energy and utilities field is preferred.
• A combination of high energy and creativity, backed with strong analytical skills necessary.
• Superior sales skills to match candidates with Company's needs.
• Must have strong interviewing, organizational, public relations, negotiation and communication skills.
• Project management skills preferred.
• Must have planning and prioritizing skills.
• Must possess the ability to develop strong relationships with a broad range of individuals.
