MPM WebWorks is seeking an experienced web application developer.​ This is a full-time, permanent position.​ MPM WebWorks is a growing company involved in several different industries, so the position requires a self-motivated, quick learner with broad development and systems expertise.​ The position has responsibilities for the design, development, documentation, maintenance and testing of web-based applications. Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently in a productive manner with limited supervision are essential. The employee must possess knowledge of, and practical experience with Visual Basic .NET, Visual Studio, ASP.NET, .NET Framework, SQL Server 2005, Web Services, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and XML/XSLT.


Required Skills

* Strong working knowledge of web development using HTML, CSS, ASP.NET, VB.NET, Java Script, and AJAX
* Experience with Visual Studio, .Net Framework 2.0/3.5, VB.NET and ASP.NET for both web and Windows forms development
* Strong working knowledge of relational database software, specifically SQL Server 2005
* Experience with XML and XSLT
* Experience with systems analysis and design for web-based application development
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to perform a needs analysis through user interaction and design, develop, and implement solutions
* Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills

You will review, upgrade, maintain and support existing applications. You will document, report on project progress, testing and so on..

You must be well versed on all operating systems, software and hardware platforms.
