The successful candidate will have the ability to supervise and coordinates daily activities of workers engaged in the production and shipping departments. Expert Welders/Fabricators Wanted (Canton - OH)

Steel fabrication company seeks qualified, certified, 6G welders and fabricators for immediate project needs.

Qualified Candidates should be 6G certified under primarly mild steels (A36), know how to read blue prints well, and be able to weld unlimited thickness in either Flux core or solid wire. This position is for 95% MIG welding only. Candidates must also be able to switch jobs quickly and think on their feet about the most effecient way to accomplish their goal + build the project. There is very little micro-management in this company. We believe that it is the employees responsibility to be productive with their time.

Welding test will consist of basic Machine calibration and normal 3G AWS D1.1 test (the entry level certification with the company).

For Fabrication, qualified persons should have extensive blueprint reading experience. This company is a job shop, meaning we build all sort of different products for many industries. Knowledge and experience with Steel Mills, Mining, Aerospace, and large scale machining is a plus.

This position is 50% mechanical and 50% electrical. This is a two month contract assignment, but there might be opportunity to go direct for the right individual.
