Energy Engineer
An Energy Engineer is responsible for the delivery and execution of our professional energy services tasks. The qualified candidate must have a BS in Mechanical Engineering and at least 2 years of professional experience employed in a staff or intern position in the building design or construction industry. The applicant must have a solid working knowledge of energy modeling software, such as eQuest, and building systems such as; pumps, fans, motors, fluid dynamics, heat absorbers, chillers, boilers, air ventilation balancing systems, VAV, Fan Design and other optimization techniques. Position Overview:
Reporting to the Director of Electrical Engineering, Software and Hardware Development, this person will apply basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical principles in building and testing prototype designs. The individual will provide support to engineers on a daily basis. The individual will also aid in the research, development, and design of electrical components for new x-ray instruments.
