We are a group of 6 students who are looking for housing for the coming June. Half of us currently rent and have rented for 2 or more years, so we have experience renting.

We are specifically looking for a 6 bedroom, 2 family house. We aren't particular about whether it's a house split with a left side and a right side apartment or a bottom floor and top floor apartment, just that each have 3 bedrooms. We are looking in nice, residential areas, but aren't opposed to looking into apartments that are in a college student populated area. The Newscotland Ave area is the kind of idea we're leaning toward.

As far as the price of rent goes, we're looking for around $350 or less, but no more than $400 per person. The maximum lease time we're looking for is a year, but if we like the area, the landlord, and the apartment itself we'd be interested in renting for longer.

Not crazy partiers and so we are not looking for something in the middle of downtown. We currently live in East Greenbush and are looking to move somewhere similar or at least quiet. We are looking for a Jan 1st move in date but have the security deposit now. So if someone wants to work with us on that we can do the painting, cleaning, etc that is needed for the move in. We need to find something by the end of November so we can give our landlord 30 days notice. We do not currently have a dog but the apartment we are looking for MUST take dogs because we are only moving so we can adopt a dog. We do not have a dog yet, but we are looking for a pit, lab, or other medium sized family oriented dogs. Not ones that bark all the time/guard dog etc. The dog will also be crate trained so when we are not home it won't be causing any problems. I have tried searching for apartments but the ads are so repeatitive that it kind of gets annoying. I am looking for a January move in date. I am looking for at least one bedroom, it is for My Boyfriend and I. We could always use a second bedroom or big closets cause we have ALOT of clothing. Id perfer baseboard heat cause our last 2 apartments have had "natural gas something" heat and we can never find the happy medium when setting the heat.

Now, we are smokers, but DO NOT SMOKE INSIDE due to the little one and we are both planning on quitting once we get out of where we are which is just causing too much stress to do so right now. I know we've been discriminated against for his being on disability, but to those landlords ... whatever!! Also, we have a reptile and fish for pets. Are those ok with you? No .. not the huge illegal constrictor snakes, but rather a small bearded dragon. (very cute and harmless) We would prefer to be in the Saratoga area or Schuylerville area. I just thought I'd give you the work background as like I stated, everything was great up until others heard Disability. So, if you have something that would fit the bill for us, please let us know as we'd like to move in ASAP. We have the money for security and first months rent. Due to his accident and not being able to work, the credit score went down the tubes about 5 years ago but is on it's way back up, so if there is the need for a credit check, we may not be the "perfect candidates". NEED 2 BDRM IN TROY (TROY, NY)

We are two people who have 2 small (1 is 8 lbs the other is 15 lbs, both dachshunds) dogs, who are both well-behaved and trained. One works from home for large company with great job security, other works outside of the home. Dogs are not left alone during the day, since one of us works from home. We are looking specifically in Troy, NY ONLY! Not lansingburgh or Brunswick etc. Troy only! A house would be great since we currently are renting a house, but multifamily, apartment etc as long as you can accept our two small dogs.
