HR Business Analyst (Schenectady)

The HR Business Analyst will provide support for key HR projects within our Client’s Global Projects organization.

JOB DUTIES:

• Provide full administrative responsibility for the Client’s Project Management Bonus Pilot Program including the administration, documentation, process development, and communication for the participants and their managers.
• Will develop a monthly/quarterly reporting process to support financial requirements and operational accountability for the bonus program.
• Support key strategic HR initiatives and projects-salary planning
• Support resource planning, analysis, and reporting
• Drive process improvement in contractor database accuracy & reporting
• Provide backup support for Global Mobility processes (movement of applicants and employees between regions around the world)
• Provide administrative support for staffing efforts as needed in the Hiring Simplified system utilizing an Oracle interface and Kenexa's Brassring applicant tracking system. 

EDUCATION –4 year college degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, HR or related degree

EXPERIENCE- Minimum of 3 years experience in human resources or a degree in a related field

• Minimum of 5 years of financial analyst experience with progressively responsible financial developmental experiences; HR experience a plus
• Basic understanding of Project Management or Construction business schedules, timelines, and accounting.
• Strong PC skills, including Powerpoint, Excel, Word and other business applications.
• Process rigor, mindset and analytical skills- ability to effectively analyze data and to identify and implement process improvement opportunities.
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task and work to deadlines.
• Outstanding attention to details.
• Ability to work independently, self-organize and demonstrate initiative.

We are assisting our Glens Falls client in recruiting for a Temporary Employment Coordinator to start immediately. This position will likely go through end of April 2010. Hours for this position are 8-4 or 8:30-4:30 Mon-Fri, paying $14/hr. This position is Not on a busline.

This position is responsible for reviewing applications, both on-line and walk-ins, reviewing and responding to the HR email address, forwarding candidates on to hiring departments, and possibly interviewing candidates for hire. This position also interacts with managers for advertising on websites, magazines or newspapers.
