I don't understand why you did not go to garage sales and buy toys and clothes for 25 cens each while garage sales were going on. People sell things so cheaply at garage sales. You knew Christmas was coming because it comes every year. And you knew you'd have your kids at Christmas because you, presumably, have them every Christmas.

Put kids and Christmas together and you need toys and clothes. Add a garage sale, if you're poor, and you can fill a whole Santa Claus sack for $3.

Why isn't this obvious to you? Or do you just ask for help because you're scamming people? I just don't understand it.

I Need Help ASAP! :( (Amsterdam)

I am moving in a week and I cannot take ANY of my furniture with me...My landlord didn't tell me there were roaches so once I moved in I realized that they were here. I had never seen one before so I had no clue I thought they were beetles. haha! But they are in everything because my landlord won't do anything to get rid of them. So everything I have I cannot bring with me. So I need a queen sized bed, couch, and recliner/rocker. Does anyone have any of those things just lying around that would be able to be donated to me. I am 20 years old and on welfare and can't get a job(nobody is hiring for 30 hours +). I know there are people on here that pick on us who are on welfare but when its the only thing you can do to keep a roof over your child's head you have to do it! So being that I am on welfare I have no money what so ever and I am not able to get anything new or even cheap for my new apartment. I need help really bad am I am hoping someone out there has the heart to help me out and not yell at me because I am a "bum". I have been trying my hardest to get a job so I can live a normal life without the food stamps and assistance from DSS but with the recession it is just to hard. So if anyone out there can help me out and deliver anything to my new apartment I would appreciate it so much! It would lift a big weight off my shoulders.
