SUNDAY DRIVE is a rapidly expanding media company that has set its sights on mapping the country with back road “Sunday Drives” in order to provide a web app on iPhone detailing back road adventures for locals, tourists and recreational drivers alike. Our goal is to preserve historical landmarks and promote responsible recreation by highlighting America’s back road treasures and hidden gems. Currently, we are in need of resourceful individuals with a digital camera and a knack for uncovering “hidden gems” and “secret spots” that make a great ‘Sunday Drive’. Qualified routes should contain but not be limited to: Pictures & Point of interest (POI) info of…
• Historical points of interest: Museum, Landmarks, Monuments, etc.
• Scenic points of interest: Parks, Art locations, Buildings, etc.
• Hiking/Biking/Kayaking/Family Outdoor Activity venue or location.
• Secret Spots: Usually obtained only by interviewing the natives (or being one).
• Hopefully the above POI’s are found along a back road perhaps on the outskirts of a community that is both beautiful and fun to drive.

Hey Graphic Designers! Beware!! (Albuquerque)

Look-out! Any company that requests a resume and your samples without giving their company name or website is looking to totally screw you, drain you, shit you out and move on to the next hungry designer.

Every legit company knows the importance of not only you being a good fit for them, but THEY should be a good fit for you. Without a company name and website how can you know anything about them in order to interview (intelligently) with them?

GRAPHIC DESIGNER (Albuquerque)

Summary: A cutting edge software company is looking for an experienced multi-faceted GRAPHIC DESIGNER who can design Dynamic Marketing and Advertising materials. This position will report to the Principles. Part time hours available, potentially will grow into a full time position with benefits.


The position requires an ambitious, motivated and detail-oriented designer to:

• Work with team to expand our branding vision.

• Translate business and marketing objectives into designs that are clear, compelling, visually exciting, and emotionally engaging.

• Assist team in building brand based graphics and layouts, photo-retouching, photo manipulation, type treatments for promotional materials.

• Design and produce ads, and HTML emails for online advertising

• Must create Web based graphics for use in website development and digital advertising. Web development capabilities a plus, but not necessary.

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years experience as a Graphic Designer.

• Proficient knowledge of design-related software (Illustrator and Photoshop).

• Basic web development knowledge preferred.

• Screen printing knowledge a plus.
