Production intern NEEDED ASAP for the ABQ Thunderbirds??? (Albuquerque, NM)

Quote…Unquote, Inc and ABQ T-Birds are teaming up to recruit people for game day operation internship tasks. The deadline for sending your resume is this Friday, November 20th. There is a total of 24 Home Games (21 of the games start at 7pm, 2 games start at 10:30am, and 1 game starts at 3pm). For the event you are schedule to work people need to arrive around 5pm on game nights. Two hours prior to game, one hour before doors open. Detailed below are the internship descriptions for the different positions available starting Nov 25-March 13 (but playoffs may be needed in April).

Internship Positions and Descriptions:
1. Music/DJ Intern-This intern will have a big responsibility to research and download music for all home games. This position can be creative and help to stimulate the energy in the area. This intern will research, download, and organize music selection for every game. This position is important with promoting a positive and high energy environment for both the crowd and the basketball players (All music is granted permission to be used under a BMI license).

2. Futurecast Production Team Intern-This intern will be responsible to assist Futurecast representatives with filming for its live-streaming of the basketball game. Futurecast enables viewers to watch every NBA D-League game for free via NBA Futurecast, the league's live web streaming. Duties may include but not limited to, DVD burning and copying then delivering DVD’s to referees and coaches, output for broadcast and delivery to 2 local stations, and assisting with 3 different cameras (floor, high mount, and roaming).

3. Game Operation and Production Intern- Duties may include but not limited to, setting up tasks like hanging banners, half-time and timeout activities, and assisting with courtside club. Duties may also include but not limited to, DVD burning and copying then delivering DVD’s to referees and coaches, output for broadcast and delivery to 2 local stations, and assisting with 3 different cameras (floor, high mount, and roaming).

Must have reliable transportation, attend at least 15 games (only required to work at home games) and also be able to work evenings.

Local acting school looking for locations for indie film (Albuquerque)

Local Albuqurque acting school is looking for a few locations for an animated/live action independent film that will be presented at many of the New Mexico film festivals.

As it is entirely funded and performed by students, there is no budget to pay for a location but we will feature you prominently in the credits. Here's what we are looking for:

1.- Office location, preferrably with lots of natural lighting, that could look like a local government children protectice services or human services dept. We would be filming at this location mainly on a Saturday or Sunday and would need it no more than 2 days (either Sat/Sun or on consecutive Saturdays)

2.- Restaurant or commercial kitchen. 1 day shoot, could be in the afternoon or evenings or on a weekend. Ideally it would have a sink that is available from both sides (like a kitchen island) to make it easier to film but is not necessary.

Documentary needs HD Camera and Operator (Albuquerque)

The Documentary feature, Las Cruces Bowling Massacre: 20 Years Later, will be shooting on Nov 3rd. in Albuquerque. Currently we need one more camera operator with his or her own HD camera.

The shoot would be for 2 hours and will be for film credit only - no pay.
