Livestock Guardians

We have 9 Great Pyrenees pups that were born August 30. There are 8 male and 1 female. These pups have been raised in a farm environment. They are currently with goats, ducks, chickens, turkeys, and geese. They are used to being around other dogs (big and small) as well as kids. There is a rehoming fee of $200 each.

Great Pyrenees are absolutely wonderful livestock guardians. The instinct that they have is unbelievable. Their sire is the best dog that we have ever seen at protecting our birds. Great Pyrenees are very large dogs. They are prone to barking - again instinct for alerting and scaring away possible threats to their charges. They can be left on their own to guard livestock (in this case pairs or trios are better than a single dog) or can be fully integrated into your family. Also much of how they guard livestock is instinct, but the pups will require some training to help them fit into your specific farm/ranching situation. Please remember that they are big, white, long hair dogs. If you do not already have direct knowledge of Great Pyrenees we recommend that you look up this breed. We want you to know what you are getting into. We feel that it is very important for each pup to find the right home.

These puppies are not registered. We have both the dam and sire on premise. The dad is 3 years old and the mother is 6 years old. Neither has shown any health problems. This litter was not planned, but the result of a determined dog who got out of a covered run. Measures have been taken to prevent that from ever happening again. The puppies will have had their first shots and been wormed.

9 year old QH/Arabian mare is ridden western pleasure.

This sorrel mare neck reigns soft and would do best with an intermediate rider, but will be fine for beginners given more saddle hours. She will need to have some finishing if used for ranchwork. Nahzoni knows her name when called, halters easy, loads well and stands for grooming & farrier. She has given rides to our grandchildren while on a lead. She is an intelligent horse with a smooth gait who would be a smart looking horse for any rider. Asking $800. OBO



We also have a 2 year old Buckskin Paint mare "Sunna" that has had a bareback saddle and a lite saddle on her, but no rider with exception to our granddaughter in the corral a couple of times on lead.
