Erosion Control Workshop Nov. 21 (Rio Rancho)
SSCAFCA, the Southern Sandoval County Arroyo Flood Control Authority, is sponsoring a free seminar on erosion control techniques on Saturday, Nov. 21st from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. It will begin at Enchanted Hills Elementary School, 5400 Obregon Road in Rio Rancho. Following a presentation by SSCAFCA and Jim Brooks of Soilutions, Inc. at the school, participants will walk across the street to a recently completed detention pond for "hands-on learning" of the erosion control techniques demonstrated.
The Obregon Detention Pond will serve to protect the school, the site of several previous floods during heavy rainfall, as well as show property owners the techniques they can use to prevent erosion and flooding. The workshop will teach homeowners how to control water that falls on their property through the use of mulch, swales, berms, and basins, as well as the use of buried organic material to absorb water.
Those who attend will receive materials on how to implement erosion control techniques. For more information about the seminar, contact SSCAFCA at 892-7246.

Jesus and his disciples were walking around one day, when Jesus said, "The
Kingdom of Heaven is like 3x^2 + 8x - 9." The disciples
looked very puzzled, and finally asked Peter, "What on earth does Jesus
mean - the Kingdom of Heaven is like 3x^2 + 8x - 9? Peter
said, "Don't worry. It's just another one of his parabolas."

Oregon Medical Marijuana Patient Seeks Patients in The 505 (Southern Oregon )
Hello I am a former resident of Albucrazy now living back on the west coast in good ole southern Oregon and have recently been approved for my " Green Card " or otherwise known as legal status as a patient in the Oregon Medical Marijuana Program OMMP. When I left New Mexico in Febuary there were only a few conditions that were available to qualify as a patient there, Not sure what it is now but take a look at the qualifying conditions here in Oregon : Chronic and Severe Pain,Alzheimer's,Glaucoma,Cancer,AIDS/HIV,Chronic Muscle Spasms,Multiple Sclerosis,GERD,Seizure Disorders,Chron's Disease,Chronic Nausea,Cachexia (unintentional weight loss),Asthma,IBS,Hepatitis C,Parkinson's Disease,Arthritis,Migraines,Tourette's Syndrome, AND MORE... Not sure what they mean by more but lets just say its pretty wide open from the stories I have heard and its just about ready to explode back here with the legalization of dispensary's and growers getting licensed to produce it legally for resale ! So my point is besides some other ramblings I will go on about after is that I am searching for " Legal " Marijuana Patients in New Mexico for friendship and people living in New Mexico who may qualify as a patient under current Oregon law and who may also consider relocating here and getting involved with the local medical scene. Because I am single I gotta mention that it would be great to find a lady to join me out here :) so for all those ladies in the 505 and surrounding areas how does the thought of hanging out with a legal medical grower in Oregon sound ? Check out those qualifying conditions and think about what it would mean to be a patient who is legal to grow 6 mature plants and 18 seedlings and possess 24 ounces at any given time ? My intent here with this post is to establish friends back home in The 505 who are currently Patients in New Mexico's Marijuana program, Support the legalization of Marijuana, Interested in possibly relocating to Oregon to register as a Patient here, Or just interested in exchanging ideas and thoughts about Marijuana ! A little background information about me, I lived in Albuquerque for 7 years off and on over the last 10 years, Attended community college for horticulture and have studied the art of breeding marijuana, I am 38 years old and live on 3.5 acres which I hope to turn into a sustainable organic farm starting next year and of course my 6 mature female marijuana plants will have full sun all day long all summer long so needless to say should do very well :) Anyways hit me back with an email with OMMP in the subject line so I know your real and thanks for checking out my post and hope to meet new friends soon.

RE: re: "failing miserably"
Again you missed my point. He has the right to post just as I have the right to flag him. I think we agree on that. My point is, he is using the wrong CL venue. As to all those offensive postings such as toilet and sodomy graphics. They are not OK with me but if that is what it takes to get the preacher to move to a better venue then they are OK with me. After all, he was ask numerous time to move yet he refuses.
In reference to his message. Well let me say this. If my preacher started delivering similar DOOM AND GLOOM messages I would ask him to move on. If he refused then I would start the equivalent of flagging him. Which I fully intend to do to Old Shep.
And do not confuse me with any other poster. Note my signature at the bottom.
One last thing. How does a douche bag. Act? LOL
Fed Up Old Fart
I HATE SPAMMERS (EVERYWHERE!!!!)
i am so damn tired of all the spam. why do you loser ass spammers feel the need to inundate those of us that are just trying to Legitimately buy or sell something, or just lookign for our lost pet. i dont give a flying rats ass about your stupid so called weightloss scam, and dont you think by now that if i could lose 65lbs in a month, while i made $73/hour doing nothing that i would have done it allready! get a real damn job and leave honest people alone
Re: Re; Regarding
douchebags????? Isn’t that a bit crude?
I agree with some of what you had to say, the idiot does have the right to post his beliefs on CL except, he is not posting his opinions. As for the good he is trying to accomplish. And just what, in your opinion would that be? His postings are mostly negative and/or irritating passages. My point is clear, he has chosen an incorrect CL venue. His thickness has blinded him to this fact. He comes across like a born again Christian trying to sell the world on his sincerity but because of his flawed messages, he is failing miserably.

re: Sonic
MY FAMILY AND I NOTICED BEFORE ALSO THAT ITS REALLY EXPENSIVE TO EAT AT THE SONIC IN BOSQUE FARMS......WE USUALLY GET LIKE 2#1 AND 3 WACKY PACKS AND USUALLY PAY ABOUT $25 SOMETHING AT OTHER SONIC BUT AT BOSQUE FARMS AT ITS USUALLY LIKE $35 SOMETHING!!!!!! HOW THE HELL........WE ORDER THE SAME STUFF EVERYTIME NOTHING DIFFERENT.........SO USUALLY WE JUST TELL THEM NEVER MIND AND LEAVE SOMEWHERE ELES TO EAT.USUALLY THE ONE IN LOS LUNAS......FOR $35 I COULD GO SOMEWHERE BETTER AND GET FULL.....I AGREE WE WONT GO THERE ANY MORE AND HAVENT FOR QUICK SOMETIME......THEY CHARGE CRAZY PRICES THERE NOW FROM A COUPLE OF YEARS AGO.;...........
Let's analyze this....
First of all, you said, "WE USUALLY GET LIKE....", then you said, "WE ORDER THE SAME STUFF EVERYTIME....", and then, "SO USUALLY WE JUST TELL THEM NEVER ....", after that you said, "WE WONT GO THERE ANY MORE AND HAVENT FOR QUICK SOMETIME..." and finally, "THEY CHARGE CRAZY PRICES THERE NOW FROM A COUPLE OF YEARS AGO...."
So it sounds like you go there ALL THE TIME! So why the crybaby act now? Or are you just a big liar?
re:Sonic
I stopped by at the Sonic in Bosque Farms this morning just because I read about it last night on CL. MAN! That was great! I loved that place! I think I'll go there every morning for breakfast.

Yet another good reason to eat at Lotaburger.
sonic - me too! (sonic)
I ate at sonic in bernalillo. After reading the sign that said if we fail to offer you some side dish your meal is free.
I had just received my food and was never offered anything. I then asked the manager and called them on their mistake he called me a liar and said I wasnt getting anything free. He was instantly hostile..
This has been about a year ago. I have never ate at any sonic again.
Just my sonic experience.

You are obviously missing the point. But then again, you probably graduated from public school unable to write grammatically & in complete sentences because you lack self-discipline and self-control as well as self-respect. It's obvious you lack respect for others.
Unfortunately it's the sheeple like you who are ultimately responsible for the lack of customer service from business owners. Because it is sheeple like you who will put up with crappy service / greed, turn around and go back, and then call those who do expect proper service for their money crybabys.

To the belligerent dude, driving the blue, chick Lexus. (Albuquerque, Downtown)
You're an ingrate. The daisy chain of vehicles you decided to high-speed graze by, that were parked on Tijeras last Thursday were there because of an accident, it wasn't a reunion. And mind you, not the kind of accident that you will inevitably cause, because you will kill people with your sassy, size 2 Boy-Band-Blue-Eyes-Colored-Lexus. If my gesticulating, requesting that you slow down was sufficient cause for you to return-gesticulate-your-middle-fingered disdain, then next time, I suggest you stop and get out of your girlfriend's car and we discuss why traffic safety causes you such offense, as well as a much more masculine selection of automobiles the next time you go car shopping.

Mentoring Program for children with disabilities (Albuquerque)
Mentoring Program for children and individuals with disabilities.
The goals of the mentoring program are to increase physical activity, improve social skills, increase academic skills, and enhance community-based experiences for persons with disabilities through significant three-on-one relationships.
I am a college student, currently working at a master’s in teaching children with Autism. I am interested in obtaining meaningful experiences with children or adults with disabilities. I have a wide background of experiences working with persons with disabilities I have worked with Bridges, Mia Via, and Kidpower in Albuquerque. I work to support the current therapy that the children are receiving from their physical or occupational therapist. I also have experience in Relationship Development Intervention and Applied Behavior Analysis. I am first aid, and CPR certified as well as, nonviolent crisis intervention (CPI) and blood born pathogens (BBP) certified. I have a B.S in Exercise science from the University of New Mexico.
Students: are referred to the program by parents, teachers, doctors, friends, counselors, and others. A student Application must be completed by a parent/guardian for participation consideration. The program is two or three days a week for two hours a session. Session times start at 11:00 and go in one hour time spots till 4:30.
Physical activity takes place in numerous settings including community centers, swimming pool, bowling alleys, basketball courts, Parks, climbing gyms, bike/running/walking trials, and many other. The types of physical activity are wide ranging, but we emphasize relevant experiences that link with school goals, parent requests, and/or involvement in community programs in which the student is enrolled or planning to enroll for future participation.
The primary goal of the mentor program is to increase physical activity time and opportunities for children and adults with disabilities through a unique mentoring relationship (similar to the "Big Brothers, Big Sisters" concept, but uses physical activity as the primary mode of interaction and instruction). The program also provides, academic tutoring for students, Physical activities are planned to meet the needs, interests, and abilities of students. Activity could be used to develop skills for general use or for a specific program in which a student is currently enrolled or planning to participate in the future. _ _In addition to individualized mentoring sessions, group wellness events may be periodically scheduled.
What are the benefits of the physical activity-mentoring program?
1. Increased physical activity levels and opportunities to play and move.
2. Learn new physical activities, sports, and games.
3. Practice skills taught in school in community-based programs and facilities.
4. Gain experiences in new settings for social skill development.
5. Develop a meaningful relationship with a college student mentor.
6. Enhance life skills that can be used at home, school, and in neighborhood.
7. Assist future teachers and other professionals gain valuable experience.
8. Build and maintain academic skills.

RE: LOTABURGER
Dude, do you have your calender marked for the monthly Boycott Lotaburger newsflash. Your posting old news, get over it, your side lost. Lotaburger makes a great burger so you're barking up the wrong tree in trying to diss it.
I'm all for gay's doing their thing, even support them in the military (where they have always served) dispite some idiotic objections made by various groups. But don't talk the marriage issue to me, sorry, you can go the civil union route. The more gays demand rights the more you turn off straights like me who are open to general acceptance. The more you diss Blakes, the more times I will stop in and buy them.
