.NET Developer (Albuquerque, NM)
We are currently seeking a .NET developer to participate in a software development team which develops and maintains an enterprise wide solution made up of client side applications, server side applications, web sites and web services.
The candidate selected for this role will provide technical services including analysis, development, and maintenance of complex computer programs.
Responsibilities will include designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting and maintaining application programs; devising and modifying programs to resolve complex system/coding problems; and preparing detailed system specifications from which programs are written
Qualified candidates must have:
· 3 to 5 years Experience with VB.NET or C#, ASP.NET, and SQL Server
· Experience with Visual Basic 6, User interface design, Team Foundation server, and Infragistics NetAdvantage desired.
· Must have good communication skills and function well in a team environment.
· Must be willing to participate in meetings with end users and conduct user training as needed.
· BS in Computer Science or related degree or commensurate experience
FBI Recruitment Event (UNM Student Union Building)
Nvent Marketing Partnership, a student-run marketing agency at the University of New Mexico (UNM), will host two information sessions for those interested in a career with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). The sessions will be held Monday, November 9 in the Lobo A & B conference room at the UNM Student Union Building. POSITION SUMMARY:
Manage drinking water operations and maintenance activities including water distribution , operation and/or maintenance of
groundwater treatment facilities. Ensure compliance with State and Federal environmnental regulations relating to public
health and welfare.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Water Technology, Engineering or a related field plus five (5) years of water or wastewater operation
and maintenance experience to include two (2) years direct supervisory experience. Related education and experience may
be interchangeable on a year for year basis. Possession of a valid New Mexico Driver's License. Possession of, or ability to
obtain, a valid Authority's Operator's Permit (AOP) within six (6) months. Possession of a valid State of New Mexico
Water Operator's Certificate, Level IV.
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES IN THE FOLLOWING AREAS:
Operational characteristics, services and activities of Water Authority maintenance program
