Looking for a drummer and possibly another guitarist to fill in for our band. We've played one show, so we're not exactly super established, but we do have a few songs, new and old, to work on.

About us:
Influenced by everything from old school hip hop to Christian metal. Main influences include Thrice, Deftones, Tool, August Burns Red, Innerpartysystem, Beatles, Devil Wears Prada, Underoath, and more.

We prefer 21 and over, we don't care about your gender, but we want to get back to work and get this thing off the ground again. Prefer a sense of humor. Music is lyrically uplifting , but not considered a Christian band. Christians in a band, I guess you'd say.

mature male vocalist looking for serious/casual rock band (Rio Rancho)

So here's a little bit about me.
I'm 29 years old and have my own family and would like to play with people in the same stage of life, not looking for any highschool bands please (but best of luck to yall!)
My influences are kind of all over the place so here are just a few that have influenced me the most.
Pearl jam, Foo Fighters, Presidents of the USA, The Refreshments, Gary Allan, Dwight yolkem, Chris Isaak, Muse, Nirvana, Smashing pumpkins, Bush, Brooks n' Dunn, White Zombie, nickleback, Megadeath
there's probably about a hundred more but ill keep it short heh.
I've been in a few bands during highschool but despite some awesome talent they all split up due to drugs, so obviously I'm not interested in joining a band that is into drug use.
I tend to go with the flow so my level of commitment depends on the band, if you guys rock and are dead serious then ill give my all, if its a casual thing then im cool with that too, but my family and my career will always come first.
I DO NOT do,
death metal, thrash metal, or punk meaning I don't growl, grunt, roar, quack, or .. yea you get the point.

I have alot of stage experience both in acting and singing so stage fright is not an issue if you wanna gig.

It takes place from 7pm to 11pm, DECEMBER 11th (Friday). U need to show at least half hour early to set up and do sound.

New Band Seeks Lead Guitar/Vocalist (Albuquerque)

We're a newly forming variety band in ABQ that is looking for a lead guitar player/vocalist to fill out our quartet. We have a lady vocalist/guitarist, bass player/rhythm guitar/vocalist and drummer and we've been rehearsing for a couple of months. We need a mature, experienced musician to fill out the group so that we can get out there and play! Sorry, no beginners, we're experienced players looking for someone who can do pop, light rock, country, maybe a little Spanish, tunes that create 'sets that sell' to people who will be willing to pay us for our entertainment value. You must have your own equipment, transportation, means of support (we all have day jobs and don't plan on making our living playing out) and moderate personal indulgences. We typically rehearse twice a week, learn new songs regularly and learn them well. We are based in the Albuquerque metro area and it would be best if you are as well. And most of all, we are looking for someone who really likes to play and have a good time.

Need Bass and Guitar for 3 piece rock cover band (ABQ)

I'd like to put together a 3 piece Rock and Roll cover band to do the bars and whatever else we can do in ABQ (or close). I'm an experienced drummer and have been playing for more than 20 years. I'm 43. Would like people fairly close in age. I need a guitar or bass player, or both to sing/share lead vocals. In the right situation a 4th member that sings and/or played something (keys would be awesome) is ok but I believe less members is better. More pay and easier to fit on the little stages here in town, you know? I live NE and I have a place to practice.

It's a "hobby", meaning I don't do it for a living. I am available for weekend gigs. A couple a month would be great.

I don't expect superstars but good players that can learn tunes and come to rehearsal prepared.

I don't know how I would describe our music exactly but i can say that it is well-written and thoughtful. Our biggest influences are probably Radiohead, The Mars Volta, Muse, Deathcab, etc.
