I'm a skilled stylist who specialize s is African hair braiding. I work at a nice, very clean professional hair salon off Mass Ave in Boston called Helen's Hair Connections on Washington st, very close to Boston Medical. I've been braiding hair for roughly five years now so I have the experience and ability to finish a full head of braids in under six hours. The prices for braids start about 120 and go up from there, hair is not included but can be purchased at the Beauty Supply store next door to the salon. I do classes here in Minneapolis at my salon and do travel all over the country. Here is the info:





Included in taking the class is a kit (500.00 value) with all you need to put them in. It includes hot purging tool, threading tool, practice hair, mannequin head, color ring, remover solution, and certificate of completion of class.

In the class:

You practice on a mannequin head ( first day) and/or model ( second day) if you have one.

• Learn five types of extensions so you can do "any" system out there.

I go over paperwork,releases,care,hair textures, ordering, Places to order from and set up accounts,consultations, pricing, advertising, etc. in morning and then technical in afternoon on mannequin head.

I a two day for $1,400.00 ( now 750.00) with second day focusing on you doing a model and me observing and answering questions that might come up while you are doing a actual person. Students like the two day class as they feel more comfortable practicing the one day and then doing a actual consult and "real" person the second as its easier working on a real person than a mannequin head.Also you can charge the model for the hair and service to help pay for class.

We are coming there the 3 rd week of November right before thanksgiving

Seems like a big investment at first but you can pay for the class with just one or two extension clients as you can charge 800-2500 depending on your area and client base for each client.

I do travel if you have at least two people interested in class. otherwise I offer classes every Sunday & Monday here in Minneapolis at my salon and training center.

• Also, if you are setting up a class and can get others interested .
