Accounts Receivable Clerk (Canadian)

An oil and gas services company with offices in Canadian is in need of an Accounts Receivable Clerk.

Qualified Candidates will possess:

• A minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
• Previous demonstrated experience processing accounts receivable.
• General overall accounting knowledge (must know the difference between a debit and a credit!).
• A background in oil and gas would be helpful
• Good overall office skills.
• Good telephone etiquette.
• Strong self-motivation!

Accounts Receivable Collector (Amarillo)

Accounts Receivable Collector

The Accounts Receivable Collector has overall responsibility for managing delinquency control through collection activities. This position reports to the CFO.

Job duties include:

• Investigates and negotiates settlements on bankrupt accounts, contacts

  creditors, and consults attorneys as necessary.

Reviews accounts to be recommended for charge-off. After approval, supervises the actual charge-off procedure and report to credit bureau.
Supervises preparation and mailing of letters and notices on delinquent accounts.
Determines and recommends new repayment terms on delinquent accounts.
Reviews and recommends accounts for legal action and initiates proper follow-up. Consults with CFO prior to legal action. Follows through as required.
Create and implement collection procedures for accounts receivable.
Reviews status of delinquent accounts and initiate collection action by contacting each account according to due date.

Job requirements:

• HS/ GED.
1-3 years experience.
Excellent attention to detail.
Good with Outlook for email and creating a data base of commercial.
Good math skills.
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Adobe Acrobat.
Must have a working knowledge of the Fair Debt Collection Act, the Consumer Credit Collection Act, and state and federal laws applying to collection activities.
Proficient with accounting software.

This is a Temp-To-Hire position. The hours are M-F 8AM 0 5PM. The pay is 35- 50K per year. This is a great opportunity to work in a fun, fast paced, and family friendly environment.
