Our mother has to move from an assisted living facility to a nursing home, and we are looking for recommendations. Mom is in good shape mentally but cannot walk and needs help being transferred to and from wheelchair, bathing, and dressing. We are looking for a place where she can have a private comfortable room with a caring staff. Any suggestions? Any comments about nursing homes we should avoid? Thanks.
