So, there seems to be a number of daily rants (not so much raves) in the pet section...they usually all get removed at some point, but still good for a chuckle is you are like me and visit the rants and raves mainly for this reason...

if your having issue's finding weed in this town, its more than likely you just do not know the right people. Infact when this town goes "dry" it has never affected me.

If you want a great tattoo then I would suggest Spaides off of 45th behind abuelos! They do beautiful and quality work! My husband has been going to them for the last two yrs and has yet to be disappointed..If you have a problem with the tattoo artist be sure to tell him to his face not on a public forum.

Well heres the deal, I try to stand by everything I do. If you have a tattoo that needs touched up that I did come see me. If you feel its over priced then maybe you should say something before you get the tattoo. As long as you did your best and followed the aftercare instructions I gave you, your tattoo would be touched up for free no questions. However, some people get thrown in jail, don't give a fuck about aftercare, let the dog lick it, put fuckin peroxide on them, on and on, and then expect me to redo the tattoo totally free, so you ask yourself that question, if you spent hours on a project, ( we'll say refinish a floor for example) and the person walked on it too soon or pulled some funiture in, or just did'nt give a fuck about it in general. would you redo it for nothing? The sad part is that people do not understand that aftercare is a huge factor in the outrcome of a tattoo. To the guy who started the Oct 12 post, (assumimg that you are a guy) if you are any kind of man, come down and say that shit to me and we'll go from there. We could post that shit on You Tube. DOG FIGHTING

So I was on google the other day watching this video documentary about dog fighting. A gentleman that fights his dogs was explaining why its not a cruel sport and why he does it. He said that the dog wants to be in that ring, it wants to be fighting but as he is saying this it shows a pit bull desperately trying to jump out of the ring to get away from the other dog and it's owner keeps pushing it back in. He said its the choice of the dog, then he continues to say that if he has a dog that won't fight the dog will be "Taken care of" He admitted to burning dogs to death before, stabbing them to death with ice picks all these terrible things all because they didn't want to fight another dog. Humans are given this choice in life. Wrestling, Boxing, MMA, It's a passion it's a choice we make. These dogs are not given this choice. If someone corners you in an alley and is trying to kill you aren't you going to fight back for your life? That's all these dogs are doing is fighting for their lives. On the video it showed a dog literally ripping the other dogs nose clean off, and he exclaim how cool this is and how there is nothing cruel about fighting. Weather its a pit bull or any other dog, Dog fighting is going on and it needs to be stopped. Did you know that these people that fight their dogs will steal other peoples dogs for bait dogs. A bait dog is a dog that they tape up it's muzzle and let their dog tear into it to get it pumped up for a fight. How is the humane? It's very cruel. Please if you know of ANYONE that is fighting dogs the Human Society of the United States is offering up to a $5,000 dollar reward for turning these people in. If I walk by and see any signs of fighting, I will take your dogs, The pound will get them and you WILL get arrested. DOG FIGHTING IS A FELONY. I am grouped up with a lot of people doing this. It's not a matter of if we catch you it's a matter of when.

I have 3 of the most sweetest pit bulls I have every met in my life and they would never hurt a soul. They are amazing with my daughter. Pampa is a dirty, run down oil town. I remember Pampa back in the 70s and early 80s and it wasn't bad, but now it's just dying. The mall has been empty for how long? The major employers have laid off more than half their employees (Celanese, Titan, National Oil). The older residential areas are falling apart. The streets are full of potholes that will never be fixed, yards are full of junked cars, and those apartments over by Sonic look like the birthplace of crack.

City pride is fine, but don't kid yourself that Pampa is the best place in the panhandle. Borger is by far cleaner and more cared for than Pampa has been in years, and I wouldn't call it the best place in the panhandle either. The only thing in Pampa that's worth a damn any more is the food... that little Mexican place in the old gas station and Jay's Drive In down on Alcock; mexican food at the Plaza; Dyers's awesome bbq; steaks at Texas Rose; the peanut chicken at China Dragon and ANYthing at Thai Noodle; dogs at Coney Island; smoothies at The Coffee Shop downtown. Yep, the food is the only thing here worth having.

Now is where you post a reply telling me how if I hate it so much, why don't I fucking leave.... don't worry, I'll wait while you find the D key.

Where do city taxes go? (Amarillo)

Amarillo has some of the highest property taxes I've ever seen in a city this size. Roads in Amarillo are rough everywhere, every street is dark...no street lights, I sure don't see any city improvement projects underway....schools are always saying they don't have enough money, there isn't a recycling system in Amarillo. Trash and Water paid by the people who live here.

Where do these high taxes go? I'm sorry but when you pay almost $4,000 a month for an 1800 sq foot home a year in taxes something is wrong with that when at the same property there isn't a street light to be found and pot holes up and down the streets. Vehicle vandalism is huge here....wonder why? If you don't park in a garage the dark unlit streets are perfect for a break-in. As well as houses.

I'm not trying to just gripe but if anyone can tell me where to find a city break down as to where all this tax money goes I'd be very interested.

I´m not sure of the exact price these days but around $150 an eighth is probably close. So lets do the math. 1000 / 150 = 6.667 so lets call it 6 1/2 eight balls a week or 22.75 grams. ...... Then take the 22.75 grams and divide by the 168 hours in a week. That comes to about .135 grams an hour. That rate of consumption leaves your corpse cold five to six hours into your $1000 a week habit. Even if your dealer is selling you DL isomer cut with MSM .135 grams an hour leaves you dead within 18 to twenty four hours. You want to keep your kids off drugs, how about you drop the BS scare tactics and tell your kids the truth. Someone may be stealing $1000 a week but it isn´t to support a meth habit.

Insurance Company (Everywhere)

As an insurance specialist in Amarillo, I know exactly what company you are talking about. They have branches in California, and I'm pretty sure they don't speak English at those offices either. They do insure people who shouldn't be eligible to receive insurance coverage according to state law, because as an insured driver, you have to have a valid driver's license. It has to be from one of the 50 United States, so that rules out a crap-load of people that are insured by this company. They are scandalous for sure. I've known several people who, after filing a claim against this company, have come to terms with the fact that they'll never get their money or their car repaired. After all, you can't pay out a claim for someone who shouldn't be insured in the first place!
