ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEER

NORWALK, IOWA



DUTIES:

• Responsible for compliance with applicable federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
• Responsible for continuous improvement in ISO 14001 certified EMS, Pollution Prevention, and community involvement.
• Will be directing projects in order to achieve and maintain goals as related to plant environmental projects.
• Conducts all environmental training and identifies training needs.
• Tracks facility’s waste streams and administers waste programs.
• Coordinates Fed, State and Local policies and documentation.
• Air, water and Title V issues.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 4 year degree in Environmental Science.
• 3-5 yrs manufacturing plant experience.
• Competent in Fed, State, Local EPA regulations and permits-Title V
• Strong documentation skills.
• Experience implementing/coordinating community involvement and improving corporate image.
• Need someone that can focus eliminating waste and caring for our environment.
• Must be a leader, motivator, coach, and trainer.
• Must have great interpersonal skills.
• Strong computer and presentation skills.
