These dog are located at the Keokuk Animal Control in Keokuk IOWA(southeast IA). I have been informed these dogs are out of time. The pit girl is super sweet, calm, mellow and already spayed. The lab mix boy is younger, sweet and outgoing. The "shaggy" boy is an older boy, calm, mellow and sweet. All are good with other dogs and all of these wonderful dogs are scheduled to be PTS. 2 Young, Neutered, Sweet Cats Free to Good Home (Ames, Iowa)

Due to a move (we are college students transferring to another university), we are looking for a home for our 2 great cats, William Tecumseh Sherman and George Washington Carver.

George is about 1 year old, black and tubby, mild-mannered, sweet and affectionate. Willie is less than a year old, black, small and thin, rambunctious, funny, and energetic. Both cats were adopted from the Ames animal shelter, are neutered and have had their initial shots. They have lived indoors since we got them, but both like to explore outdoors, so an indoor-outdoor situation in a safe area would work well. We will under no circumstances separate these cats: they come as a pair and need to stay as a pair. We will provide their litter box, harnesses & leashes, bowls, brushes, toys, and any food and litter we have. These two are a ready-made family and we are sad to see them go, but hope you can provide as much love, attention and care as we have.

I have a wonderful little kitten that needs a good home. Me and my husband had to take him and his brother in when their mother was hit by a car. I recently found a home for his brother now the poor guy is all alone. He is very friendly, playful and sweet. He loves to be held and loved on. Completely litter box trained. He gets along with both cats and dog. He has been de-wormed and i haven't noticed any fleas. He is about 7 weeks old. I would keep the little guy but i am only allowed 2 pets at a time and already have a dog and cat. Please help me out and give this little guy a good home.

Ride from Ames to Minneapolis

My wife and I need a ride from Ames to Minneapolis Saturday morning November 21st. We must be at the airport by 11:30am. We will also need a ride back Friday night November 27th. We will arrive at the airport at 8:12pm. We have friends in Minneapolis so we wouldn't necessarily need to be picked up and dropped off directly at the airport. i want to start a folky band (Ames/Boone)

Hey all,

i want to start a folky/indie band. i am an ok rhythm guitarist, and have written several songs that i think have lots of potenial. but my voice is not strong enough to base a band around.

i am looking for anyone in the area who wants to get together and see what happens. the music is in the vein of Iron and Wine, Conor Oberst, The Mountain Goats, Frontier Ruckus. that folky roots sounds. i'd love to have a bluegrass feel also, if at all possible.

Australian Cattle Dog needs new home (Story county)
