Jensen Home Speakers (Ames) $40

This is a pair of Jensen 3122 loudspeakers with 12in woofers.

These are best for garage speakers or something of the sort as is because one of the woofers rattles if you crank on them. They go pretty loud before they rattle but I want you to know that they are not in like new condition. If you know how to replace the woofer, then you'll have yourself a fantastic, loud set of speakers. I used to shake the house with them so I know they will rock. I just decided to upgrade finally.

The cabinets and grills are in really good shape, just a few knicks in the cabinets.

THX Logitech Z-5500 Digital 5.1 surround sound Speaker System (ames) $230

I bought this system winter of 2008. The system produces 1000W or 505W RMS. The system sounds great and work well both with a TV as a surround sound system or connected to a computer. The pod, which controls the sound was recenlty replaced. It works great. I have no complaints with this sound system. There is still a year left of logitechs warranty. 4 Reel to Reel tape recorders (Boone, IA) $25

I have 4 reel to reel tape recorders I want to sell. They are: Sony TC 540 (not working), TC 630 (amp working, tape portion not), TC352D (working) and an Akai X1800 SD (working). I want to sell them all for $25. The guts of the Sonys are all the same so could be used for parts. The main problem with the 540 and 630 is the large multi switches which activate the record capability of both machines need to be replaced. I haven't tried them for many years, but in their last state they would not record. Both the 352 and the Akai do work last time I tested them. The 630 has a built in stereo amp which will accept a turntable, tuner and another line source. This could be separated out, put into another enclosure and used as a modest integrated stereo amp.I also have some manuals for the Sony decks, one has schematics included which would be common to all the Sony decks. This would be included with the decks. What I had planned to do with the decks is realistically not going to happen so they are up for sale.

I bought 2 12" alpine type-r subs to put in the trunk of my Audi (along with the 15) a few years ago, but when I realized how small my trunk was I lost interest due to the amount of extra work it would take. I've been storing them in my bedroom clsoet hoping to put them in a different car, but now I have an 18 month old son and no use for subs. I checked at best buy and new 12s are $249 each. I'm selling them for half price. Both subs are brand new and have been sitting in a box in my closet for 2 years. One sub is still in the original cardboard box. I took the other sub out of the box when I first I got them to measure it in the shop, and my dog tore up the box. 15" inch Alpine SWR-1542D Type R 15 in box (Ames) $200

I have an alpine type R 15 inch dual 4 ohm voice coil subwoofer. Its 750w rms/2000w max. Bought it brand new and I've had it in my Audi for 2 years. It's been running on an alpine mrd-m605 with 600w rms at 2 ohms. I took the time to break it in right and I've never pushed the limits or over powered it. I have an 18 month old son and I realize I'm never going to bump in my car again, and man does this thing hammer. I checked at best buy yesterday, and a 12" type R was $249 with no box! I'm putting some 8"s back in my car instead. The sub comes in a sealed mdf wedge box. Would look great with an amp rack. The sub is in perfect playing condition, although it does have a small amount of wear on the ripple surround. Email for more pictures or to come see it.
