Campustown Merchant Association is excited to offer an intern position with assisting in
the development of future promotions in the Welch Avenue Campustown Area.

The Campustown Merchant Association is made up of 13 bar/restaurants and retailers in and around the Welch Avenue area. Applicants will work with the group and present ideas that better business and community awareness.

The awarded intern will be responsible, but not limited to the following:

- Event Creativity
- Detailed presentation to the association of owners for approval
- Budgeting and accounting of the event
- Community awareness, media updates and press releases
- Marketing strategy and implications
- Vendor meetings and co-ops
- Advertising sales or opportunities that better other businesses or groups while benefiting the association as a whole

This is a very unique start-up opportunity that offers tremendous business contacts and references! Imagine the letters of reference and great vendor company contacts that you will create? We will introduce you to national vendors such as Red Bull, Iowa Beverage - Miller Lite, Doll Distributing - Budweiser, and local restaurants/bar owners. You will create promotions with local charities that benefit their organization as well as the Campustown Merchant Association.

College Brand Ambassador (Ames, IA)

Title: Winter College Brand Ambassador-

Duration: 3-5 week excluding the winter break(starting November 30th, working through finals and the first week of the spring semester)

Reports to: Action Marketing Group Account Manager

Overview: High energy college brand ambassador wanted to engage students in their environment and increase brand awareness. This position will require brand representation of a great textbook rental company through student outreach, word of mouth and on-campus guerilla tactics.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Be the face of our product in market
• Utilize provided program elements to build awareness of brand daily
• Weekly reporting with measured distribution and photo capture
• Ongoing social networking activity for brand
• Wild postings / flyers / stickers distribution
• Editorial creation and submission to school newspaper
• Information and premium distribution to campus influencers
• Pre-lecture classroom announcements
• Recruit additional brand advocates
• Data collection in the form of pictures and numbers
• Report weekly to Action Marketing Group Manager

Qualifications: Must be a student with a major in marketing, advertising, business, or PR is preferred. A well qualified brand ambassador will be connected on campus with clubs and organization (i.e. athletics, Greek life, etc) and through social media networks. Must be self motivated, reliable and willing to work 15-20 hours a week for the last few weeks of Fall Semester and first weeks of Spring Semester.
Knowledge: Expert knowledge of your market is required. Knowledge of the brand (provided by Action Marketing Group), the website, marketing strategy and tactics must be obtained before activation.
Skills & Abilities: Computer skills (including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint). Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate and interact successfully with consumers is a must.

Description: Our Client Services Coordinators act as facilitators of our property marketing plan from within our office and work alongside agents to
market our listings through our print, web, direct mailing and MLS systems. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Database management, Postcard distribution campaigns, Flier and Brochure preparation, Prospecting, Setting up Buyer/Seller Accounts, Showing Appointments, Enhancing listings, and website and blog maintainence.

The position is multifaceted and requires strong administrative, interpersonal, computer, and multi-tasking skills, as well as high levels of attention to detail. This position is M-F, 8-5 (approx 30-40 hours).

Skills: Applicants must be comfortable working in a team environment and have experience with Microsoft Office. Any marketing or design experience
would be beneficial (Experience with In-Design, Publisher, Quark a plus) and any real estate sales or office experience would be beneficial but
