I have a wonderful little kitten that needs a good home. Me and my husband had to take him and his brother in when their mother was hit by a car. I recently found a home for his brother now the poor guy is all alone. He is very friendly, playful and sweet. He loves to be held and loved on. Completely litter box trained. He gets along with both cats and dog. He has been de-wormed and i haven't noticed any fleas. He is about 7 weeks old. I would keep the little guy but i am only allowed 2 pets at a time and already have a dog and cat. Please help me out and give this little guy a good home.

We are missing our 6 mo. old black lab...she is around 65 lbs and has a scar on her back, she is wearing a green collar. My son went out the front door to watch our street being asphalted and she ran out the front door, usually she stays here if she gets loose. She answers to Mercedes, avery friendly , loves people and will not hesitate to jump on you, but she isnt vicious in any way. The kids are missing her badly so please let us know if you find her!

Another remote shelter in Missouri that gets hardly no notice and the dogs in this shelter don't have much hope except for when networking is done for them.

Chalice has had no response on emails and is reaching out to our nationwide network in hopes that someone will want to help save even just one. I know everyone is full, but if you can share this with friends and family as well, you just never know who may find their soul mate.
Della was a playground stray and a very sweet family brought her home to take care of her but when they knew she needed vetting, brought her to the shelter (possibly her death) because they couldn't afford it.



Mamadog was abandoned with her two pups. The family just didn't want her anymore. She lost her human family and her 2 pups and will now die on Friday at the shelter because she just isn't wanted or needed anymore. Poor Mama.



My heart goes out to Cleo the most. A neglect case, she belonged to the town drunk. Was left tied up all the time without food, shelter, or water. A neighbor always heard her crying and decided to call Animal Control. Precious Cleo is a little gal and will only weigh about 40 pounds. She would make a lovely companion if only given a chance.



And last but not least, is Pitty Baby. She was dumped and the shelter staff says that she doesn't have a mean bone in her body. She is smart as a whip and sweet as the day is long. She just wants a family of her own to love her. What is really neat about Pitty Baby is that she opens the cage to her kennel each day to greet the ACO. Can you imagine? What an amazing little girl.



Sadly, their time is up this Friday.

We don't have much time, but miracles have happened before and we can hope for one this time. Please take a few moments to read the bio on each pup below from Chalice's email. Considering they only have a couple days left to live, it may help to say a prayer for each one as well.

Wyvonnia, all of these dogs have been posted before and I've gotten no interest at all. I asked for more time on Mamadog and got this week but if the pound fills up, she will go. The pittie/AST is out of time on Friday. I pulled Cleo to get her out of the environment but she is still "impounded" and will have to go back if nobody can help.

Would you be willing to send them out to your contacts and see if we can find any help? Right now large mixed breed dogs just have no chance at all but I thought I would give them at least one more try.

DELLA is a 3-4 month old Shepherd Retriever mix puppy, probably mixed with some sort of long coated retriever. She is already over 40 pounds and is going to be a very large dog, 80+ pounds when she is fully grown. Very friendly and social. She was brought home by children who "found" her in a school playground and kept until it was time to get vet care. Family could not afford that so took her to the pound.


MAMADOG was picked up two weeks ago with two older puppies. The family let the pups go and were supposed to pick up Mama last week. They didn't show up, have not returned calls to Animal Control so unless somebody steps up for her or I beg for time, she will be put down Friday. She is very sweet and friendly, we think a Catahoula mix. AC says gives no problems.



The black and white pup (I'm calling her CLEO) was picked up by AC for neglect. She was living tied up outside without shelter or regular food and water. The neighbors complained because she cried all the time. The owner was a town drunk who spends all his time in the bar or casinos, lives without utilities and spent no time with Cleo. She is being held past her time in hopes of finding somebody to help. She is probably a lab/border collie cross, Will not weigh more than 40 pounds grown. She is at least six months old now. Very sweet and social with people.



PITTY BABY The brindle/white is a female pit or American Staffie (mix?) who apparently was dumped. AC says she is about a year old and there is "not a mean bone in her body." Very social and really wants to be with people. AC says she is very smart. She has learned to open the door to her cage inside the pound to meet the ACO.





Soft Hearts will provide vaccinations, worming, flea treatment, short term fostering and get to transport if there is somebody out there who can help!!

I am trying to find a loving home for my pair of cats. Stripey is an adult, 1yrs old, petite black and grey striped cat, VERY loving and affectionate, Wonderful with children- I have 3 aged 5 and under. Suzie is our second, she is a kitten and about 4mths old, She is also ver affectionate, loves to be in your face! Great with the kids as well! She is a tad stubborn though!! Neither cat has had socialization with dogs so i would prefer they go to a dogless home. I love these cats and hate to get rid of them but we have recently discovered that they are the cause behind my husbands allergies and we dont believe it is fair to them to be locked away in the basement since they love being snuggled. Inside homes only!!! They would come with litter boxes (both are fully trained!) and there are 3 boxes, (1 regular, 1 tote made into a litter box so they have their privacy, and 1 automatic one) They would also come with whatever food is left over (right now I have 1/2 big bag and some cans of food) they also would come with any litter left, they need a change so it would probably only be about a 1/2 bucket. Border Collie Female -Spayed (Williams/Alden)

Fly is a small 3 year old spayed female border collie that is looking for a low keyed rural/farm home, without small children. She gets along well with well mannered mature quiet dogs. I have had Fly on livestock, she has some basics but does not handle pressure real well, too much pressure sends her to the porch. She would prefer to stay in the kitchen and help with the house work then to go out and get dirty. Though I could see her becoming useful with the right patient person that she really likes being with. Previous to her arrival here she felt insecure at her old home, she would hide in her crate and would not interact with the other dogs. Here she plays with the other dogs, comes out to be with us and actually sings to us when she is happy (something her old owner never heard). Fly is house broke, crate broke and has been fine out in the yard loose here (we are out in the county well off the road). She has a good recall, and knows lie down and sit. She was just recently seen here at the farm by the vet and was just given an updated rabies shot. A small rehoming fee applies. .

Miniature Australian Shepherd (Ames)

I have a 1 year old blue merle male minature australian shepherd available for a new home.He weighs just under 20 pounds and is about 15 inches at the shoulder. He is neutered, housebroken and a well behaved dog. He is registered with CKC and has passed his CGC (Canine Good Citizens) test. He is great on leash and will not run away if loose in the yard. He enjoys chasing rabbits but if you whistle he'll stop and come back. He knows sit, down, come, stay along with others. He has a lot of energy so he needs a family that has enough time for him. He love to go running, rollerblading and will run next to a bike. He love to play fetch and enjoys swimming and retrieving items from the water. He does not bark. I kennel him durring the day since he's only a year old but he has never chewed up anything other than toys. He is loose at night in my room with me. He is up to date on shots and has been on frontline and heartgaurd since I got him. He is use to being around other dogs, cats, horses and children.
