Job Title: Research Specialist - Client Services
Location: Amsterdam

Description:
The Research Specialist is part of Forrester's Client Services team. This position is the primary point of contact for Forrester clients participating in our Inquiry program. The Research Specialist provides direct answers to clients’ questions with expert responses based on Forrester’s published research and coordinates Analyst interactions with clients participating in our Inquiry program. The Research Specialist must have a desire to actively participate in the development and ongoing improvements to the program’s processes and information sharing initiatives. The position gives high performing individuals the opportunity to develop skills and competencies such as workflow management, essential business fundamentals, problem solving techniques, effective communication and business writing.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the liaison with clients and analysts for all incoming requests for Inquiry sessions, including scheduling meetings with clients on behalf of the analyst.

• Work closely with other Research Specialists and the research teams to provide clients with substantive and timely responses to questions.

• Work with Clients to clarify research requests in order to identify the most appropriate Analyst for the Inquiry session.

• Accurately track the status of all requests made, ensuring that requests are responded to within the requested time frame.

• Generate regular reports on Inquiry activity. Provide qualitative and quantitative analysis to research teams and sales management.

• Develop an expertise across Forrester’s research topic areas, particularly related to research for IT professionals

• Research and write high-level Topic Overviews based on Forrester’s published research.

• Track all client-related inquires in Forrester's CRM database.

• Support Inquiry and Client Services projects

Requirements:

• A strong track record of academic achievement; B.A./B.S. degree minimum.

• Strong desire to deepen knowledge about Forester’s customer base and the technology challenges they face.

• Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects; be detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines.

• Ability to think, plan, innovate, and execute resourcefully.

• Strong intellectual curiosity about technology's role in business, society and the home – desire to expand knowledge across all the areas that Forrester researches.

• Works with a high degree of intensity, follow-through, and collegiality.

• Critical thinking, analytical research/writing, and business communication.

• Enthusiasm and commitment to excellence.

• Fluency in English required; fluency in French, German, Spanish, Portuguese or Dutch is preferred

• Free to work in the Netherlands without restriction
