This is a non-profit student music video for a major Rock Star from the 1970's.
We need Native American Indians
e.g including any members of the Cherokee, Creek, Seminole,and Choctaw nations among others.
We also need participants to come presented with their native clothes for the video shoot.
We REALLY need someone who has home movies and or pictures that we can use as public domain
These family members and tribes will be honorably mentioned in credit for this video.
Anyone with traditional regalia are highly sought after for this project. Please send pictures if possible to help determine if you are exactly what we are looking for please.

Since it is a student project there is no pay but you will be given a credit copy (copy of video) for your personal collection with your name title credit within the film.

Small Ann Arbor marketing agency needs someone to help build a variety of websites in Dreamweaver with integration of provided art, Flash and other elements. Most of the design issues will be mostly done, although input will be welcome. Sometime we'll work with a purchased template and we may fool around and modify these templates. Art and photography files will be created by me for the site, as will the text -- what I need is someone to work closely with me to put it together in Dreamweaver and make sure the code, functionality and reliability is solid. Knowing how to design and animate in Flash and using other elements of the Adobe Create Suite (and other tools) is a huge plus.

For the right person, the EASY part is building the site -- working with Dreamweaver, Flash and other tools-- while the HARD part is creating content (since that will be provided). During the process, I will be totally open to creative input and ideas.

What I am looking for is someone, potentially young and fresh out of (or still in) school, who is technically tight and fast with these programs but may not have a lot of experience. I've seen a lot of great kids taking class at Wastenaw Community College who can whip up a storm. This is a paid gig -- you will be paid on a project basis and it may vary slightly depending on the client's budget. I would hasten to add that this is not one of those ridiculous and abusive craiglist ads looking for someone to do a boatload of work for $50. You hate those and so do I. One the other hand, these days client budgets are very tight and there are a variety of places competing by charging next to nothing. I am looking for someone fresh enough to work pretty inexpensively, but confident enough mechanically to result in solidly functioning sites.

ACTRESSES NEEDED FOR STUDENT FILM (Ann Arbor/Northville)

We are looking for two (2) college-aged (18-26) women to be in a comedy for our Filmmaking class at U of M for TOMORROW AND SUNDAY. The film will be shown at the end of semester film festival (called "Lightworks") to an audience of nearly 500 people. This is a great opportunity to build your reel and gain experience on a film set. We will be shooting from 10 am- 4 or 5 pm Saturday, Nov. 14th in Northville, and 10am- 4pm on Sunday Nov. 15th in Ann Arbor on the U of M campus. There is no pay, but we are able to provide transportation from Ann Arbor to Northville on Saturday and also snacks(possibly meals) both days.

Bass Player

You know how it's almost impossible to find a good bass player? A REAL bass player -- not a guitar guy settling for bass, or playing bass with a guitarist's mindset -- but a real bass player. That individual who always loved playing bass, knows and *gets* a bass player's great role in a rock band, and always played AS a bass player. Well, we're looking for *that* bass player.

We're a classic rock cover band who have been together for many years. We've each played our whole lives in many bands. We're tight, better than average players, play a lot of deep cuts and our repertoire is quite varied. Rock, soul, funk, Motown, we play what *we* like. From a killer Baba O'Riley (full length, *with* the fiddle solo hoedown at the end) to What is Hip? to ZZ Top to Paul Simon, we play songs we love. We're like 94.7 on a good day.

We're guitar, drums, keys, and between late 30s and mid 50s. We have real gear and a stand-alone practice space meant for playing. We aim to practice once a week, and gig 1-2 times a month.

If you can sing lead too, that's a plus. We all sing decently and split the songs up and also do harmonies.

Everyone's got families and jobs. This is our outlet to play and have fun. We're in it to enjoy playing well and treating the audience to a great band experience. It's not to re-live former glories and escape the wife to get hammered at the bar. (Not that we're saints but if you've seen many classic rock cover bands, you've likely seen a few I'm referring to.)

We're laid back, keep it simple, good pals, and leave it on the field when we play, keep the people dancing. We're not a show band trying to be everyone's dream jukebox, just a good club/bar band. Think a vibe like the Stones or the Faces - just much less wasted. ;)

We are converting our walk in shower to a tub and are attempting to do most ourselves.
Have started demo but need help with the following:

1. remove concrete shower pan (requires small jack hammer, the sledge didnt cut it)
2. update copper plumbing to add tub faucet and rearrange position of shower faucet (walls are exposed so should be quick)
3. Install cast iron tub (2 person job) - if possible pick up tub from store.
