Mathematica Data Analysis and Visualization (Ann Arbor)
I am looking for somebody to help me analyze and visualize data for my dissertation. I have run a large number of simulations and collected a great deal of data. Too much data to manage myself within the time I have. I have the algorithms worked out in Mathematica and mostly what this job requires is simply going through the data files and running the algorithms on all the data files. Some tweaking of the algorithms will also be necessary due to variations in the data formatting from case to case.
Some experience with basic Mathematica syntax is required. If you're really good then you can probably improve my techniques and both make it easier for you and improve my research. I'm willing to pay $8-$20 an hour depending on your capabilities. I don't know how many hours of work there will be in total (perhaps 20-40hrs) and probably this is a one shot deal, but perhaps I will need similar work in the near future (e.g. redoing experiments or further analysis based on initial results). Some of my colleagues also need similar work so could easily turn into a cash cow for the right person. I'd like to get this done as quickly as possible (within the next couple of weeks) so you should have time available for this now (i.e. not after the term is over).
Ideally you'd have your own (rather powerful) computer and your own copy of Mathematica 7, but I can provide a computer and/or the program (for Windows) if necessary for the right person. Undergraduates are encouraged to apply. Telecommuting (by which I mean working on your own) is expected with meetings to look at the results and discuss next steps.
Please email me (Aaron) your availability and some description of your Mathematica experience level and I'll get back to you.

health clinics: Schedule appointments on my behalf for 25% commission.
Attention Chiropractic clinics and other healthcare clinics:
I provide comprehensive manual/massage therapy or bodywork. I want to outsource my booking procedure to the right wellness clinics who will represent my services appropriately. Those clinics will receive a 25% UP FRONT commission for every appointment they book. I will perform all sessions in my own wellness clinic located in Plymouth. Your clinic can be in the Metro-Detroit or Ann Arbor areas only.
This is an alternative to having me working in your facility using up your office resources & space and having you book the appointments for me there. I prefer to stay in my own office while working with your patients.
The whole booking process is safe, secure & turn-key and all you need is an internet connection and a normal internet browser like Internet Explorer. I will give you a special link to my online scheduler. You just follow the 3 step process of asking your patients/callers what date/time, contact info including email, ask some brief but important health questions (just in case there are some contraindications) and then for payment/deposit for the appointment. I will supply a special & SECURE Paypal link for your office use only (not your patients) where you will pay 75% of the booking fee. You bill your patients the full fee in whatever fashion is appropriate, and keep the 25% commission. At no point will I ever have access to your credit card info using an online Paypal button. This makes the transaction safe, secure & ethical.
Making payment by clicking the Paypal link will trigger a confirmation email sent to your patient by my company's online scheduler, that RESERVES their appointment in my official schedule, it also includes their appointment details (including full appointment fee amount) as well as a link where they can reschedule/cancel their appointment, right up until the day of the appointment where I require a call to reschedule/cancel last minute.
This is literally a "no brainer"! I have stream-lined the whole booking process for you or your office manager to perform. I've laid everything out that you need to ask. You just fill in the boxes with required info!
If you would be interested in this arrangement, please contact me. My official web site is: http://www.neuromusculartherapist.com you may also call me: (734) 743-1668 I would like to learn as much as I can about your wellness clinic before I accept you. It would be beneficial for you to try my services so you can personally highly recommend my services to your patients with confidence, but I am not enforcing this.
Any solicitation email OR PHONE CALLS that do not pertain to this specific business arrangement WILL BE SPAMMED! (YES! I CAN spam your phone number too! Try me and find out.) I am not interested in any other opportunities.
For Craigslist staff & flaggers: This is a CONTRACT/PART TIME SALES JOB. It is in essence, not so much different than a chiropractic office hiring a CONTRACT/PART TIME THERAPIST to take the appointments the office schedules for them for a commission. The only difference is, I will be located in a different office. I am offering up front commission on sales the clinic makes without ANY hidden costs. Therefore is completely legitimate job posting.

DREAMWEAVER AND FLASH GEEK NEEDED IMMEDIATELY (Ann Arbor)
NEEDED IMMEDIATELY
Small Ann Arbor marketing agency needs someone to help build a variety of websites in Dreamweaver with integration of provided art, photography Flash and other elements. Most of the design issues will be mostly done, although input will be welcome. Sometime we'll work with a purchased template and we may fool around and modify these templates. Art and photography files will be created by me for the site, as will the text -- what I need is someone to work closely with me to put it together in Dreamweaver and make sure the code, functionality and reliability is solid. Knowing how to design and animate in Flash and using other elements of the Adobe Create Suite (and other tools) is a huge plus.
What I am looking for is someone, potentially young and fresh out of (or still in) school, who is technically tight and fast with these programs but may not have a lot of experience. I've seen a lot of great kids taking class at Wastenaw Community College who can whip up a storm.
For the right person, the EASY part is building the site -- working with Dreamweaver, Flash and other tools-- while the HARD part is creating content (since that will be provided). During the process, I will be totally open to creative input and ideas.
This is a paid gig -- you will be paid on a project basis and it may vary slightly depending on the client's budget. I would hasten to add that this is not one of those ridiculous and abusive craigslist ads looking for someone to do a boatload of work for $50. You hate those and so do I. One the other hand, these days client budgets are very tight and there are a variety of places competing by charging next to nothing.
I am looking for someone fresh enough to work pretty inexpensively, but confident enough mechanically to result in solidly functioning sites. What I am *not* looking for is someone with 15 years experience who owns their own agency or design firm.
I have two site waiting to be built and need someone immediately. There will be a continuous chain of work for the right person. YOU MUST BE RELIABLE!
PLEASE CONTACT ME IMMEDIATELY IF INTERESTED. Links to anything you have worked on would be appreciated.
