Don't Cry For Me Wash Country Club (Ypsilanti)

Don't ask mercy for Washtenaw Country Club. They don't deserve it. They treat their hirees poorly. If you aren't going to give people work - don't mislead saying they have a job. Send someone home early occasionally? At least give them a meal. Especially poor, struggling college students. Manager and big shot cook, are lazy, smoke and drink too much, and aren't on the floor. They blame everyone else for their own incompetence. What goes around comes around. It's an unfortunate situation for cooks, waitstaff, grounds persons and hard working employees to suffer due to managements incompetence. Maybe someone will buy them out eventually and establish a good business organization that treats its employees right.

Bosch Tankless H20 Heaters (Ypsi/Ann Arbor)

Don't waste your time with Bosch Aqua Star tankless H2O heaters. They're unreliable, short lived and Bosch will not give you any service. Bosch may not even speak to you. They refused to speak to me when mine went out after only 4 years. And it was much more expensive to buy and install than a regular H2O heater. Be sure to speak to plumbers before buying one. Most plumbers I spoke to wanted nothing to do with Bosch tankless heaters. I should've listened. It was an expensive lesson. Learn from my mistake.

How many workers has WCC sent home early this season without a paycheck, tips or even a meal? It's a shame any employer would do it, but the managers and head cook, (and I use those terms loosely because they don't qualify in either category) at WCC have no compunction about mis-treating their employees. In this economy with everyone looking for the most basic work, WCC has no problem taking advantage. Best to the members and employees who've hung on. Hope for a better economy and outlook for the club and it's employees.
