I foster for Tiny Paws and have a two year old male pom looking for his new home. He was rescued from a kill shelter in KY. He is one of the calmest dogs I have seen. I have had him a week now and he still has not barked so would make a great apartment dog. He is apricot in color and approximately 14 pounds. He is micro chipped and recently had all his shots and is neutered. I have a four pound dog and he gets along great with her. We have been working on walking on a leash and that gets easier every day. The rescue does charge a $250.00 fee. They also allow you to return the dog before the end of one week if for some reason it would not work out. Please give him a chance, he is a great little guy who just wants to be loved.

Found dog (Mackville/Greenville)

A dog has wandered in our yard yesterday and is still here today. It does not have a collar. It is a medium sized dog. Coloring is mostly black, with a half white face and neck, back legs are brown. We live just north of JJ and McCarthy Rd, on S Hample Rd. This is the area between Greenville and Mackville.

Medication Option (Wisconsin)

Wisconsin legislators are discussing the issue of legalizing medical marijuana use. This bill is not about legalizing marijuana for recreational use, but creating a narrow exemption for the sick and dying. The Bill is called The Jacki Rickert Medical Marijuana Act (JRMMA)

The JRMMA would remove penalties for possession of marijuana for an individual diagnosed with a debilitating medical condition if it is recommended by their doctor.The JRMMA also protects licensed caregivers and dispensaries. As proposed, the bill has the requisite safeguards to prevent the abuse of marijuana. Those safeguards include requiring a physician's prescription, and well defined list of medical conditions for which the drug may be prescribed. The law also requires that distribution of the drug would be regulated by the state. Additionally users would be registered with the state Department of Health Services and would not be allowed to drive or operate heavy machinery while under the influence of marijuana. The Bill specifies a maximum amount of marijuana may have.

There are currently 14 states in the U.S. that have medical Marijuana laws. Those states are Alaska, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Washington.

Rep. Gregg Underheim (Republican) from Oshkosh proposed the medical use of marijuana in 2006. It is about time for Wisconsin to join these states with sensible, compassionate laws regarding medical marijuana use. Marijuana has been shown to be a safe effective treatment for AIDS, HIV, PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder), Anxiety disorder, chronic muscle spasms, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, tumors both benign and malignant (cancerous), glaucoma, migraines, insomnia, even asthma and emphysema.

7 Month old Kitten (Berlin)

I have a 7 month old kitten that needs a home. My older cats are mean to her and my dogs chase her. She is locked up in a cage right now to ensure her safety. Due to craigslist warnings, I am asking a $10 rehoming fee for her. She is not fixed, and I haven't gotten her in for any shots. She will not come with any supplies unless you want the little litter box that I have in her cage right now. AS I STATED, I HAVE 2 OTHER CATS, SO I NEED MY SUPPLIES! She is a loving cat once she gets use to you. She is using the litter box in her cage, so I would say she is litter box trained. She is very playful. I hate to see her go, but I think it would be best. I have had her about a month and have tried to make it work.

I heard from a bartender that even THEY are getting shorted.....i don't know exactly how many times, but aparrently these people must not know how to run a business...I wouldn't even trust going there anymore, who knows if they would overcharge for drinks or something to make up for their business losses, not saying that would happen but it could be a possibility...I also heard through a friend that Black Label Promotions pulled all their bands out due to shorting their bands pay...again i have no proof of this or anything but they know Black Label very well so I don't know why they would make something like this up. Anyway

Chad Konrad should learn how to run a business before getting into a mess like this, I wouldn't go there...if they don't even pay their own employees.

Two Parakeets with cage/food/toys (Fond du Lac)

I have two parakeets that need to be rehomed. They were both born last May. One male and one female. They are bonded very well and will probably start having babies someday. The female is a yellow rare parakeet and the boy is yellow/green rare parakeet. I paid over $100 for everything, but our cat is always trying to eat them. He's a "professional" musician and knows what he's talking about! I'm sure his bandmates would be glad to take a pay cut if the bar they are playing at has a bad night. Yeah right!

This one is quite simple. I Have been in business for over 40 years, I have been playing in bars for over 35 years. Did they or did they not agree to pay the money. I have never hired a contractor that I did not check out first. Sorry for there mistake, but it is THERE mistake. I am not saying the band did not suck, I really don't know. As far as not having agent fees, well to me that just common sense. I have lost money on jobs and I sucked it up because I screwed up. Welcome to the real world. Welcome to reality. Welcome to business owners that think they can get away with just about anything. If they have a contract, then great, they go to court and they will get the money, no doubt about that. If they don,t a little harder to prove. (Buyer beware) . Bottom line is this, if they did not get paid because the bar didn't make the money. Too bad. Pay up and shut up. If you have all these big time bands coming in, I pretty sure there not stupid enough to play there without a contract. Since I know quite a few of them personally, I can guarantee that. Of course they don't get screwed. Bottom line is this, in your own admission, they did nor pay the band the money they were owed. End of story! I guess if you want to play there get a contract. If they don't want to sign a contract don't play there. Pretty simple. If they don't want to sign a contract, then I would run. There are plenty of places to play, and usually that means they leave the door open to screw you. Again pretty simple. Caveat Emptier ( Buyer beware) As a musician, dealing with a bar with an admission of guilt, I am going to stay away! Everyone else, make up your own mine!

I currently have 1 opening left for children ages 6weeks to 6yrs old that can be full-time or part-time. I want to also encourage families with children with special needs to also apply. I have hands on training with Autistic children as well as Behavioral issues, speech issues and Sensory issues. (More about that in a little bit) I live one block from Hilbert Elementary school, close to the Catholic Elementary School and 3 blocks from the park. I know that it can be hard to leave your kids when you go to work and I want to assure you that they will receive the best care when they are here. I myself am a very cautious mother which is why I decided to dedicate my life and time to taking care of not only my 3 kids but kids from other families as well. All meals, snacks and drinks are included as well as fun loving educational environment. Will work with parents schedules that they use on a daily basis already with their kids such as nap times and meal times ect.

Now I’ll tell you a little about me and my family. My family consists of Myself, My Husband, 10yr old step-daughter, 3 ½ yr old son, and 2yr old son. My step-daughter is here every other weekend and Wednesday nights during the school year and basically every other week during the summer. I am a certified in-home daycare I have taken EC1, EC2, Infant/Toddler, CPR training, SIDS, and First-Aid along with my continuing education classes. My 3 ½ yr old son does attend Hilbert Elementary school 3 times a week. He at a very early age was diagnosed with seizures which are now completely under control. He has also been diagnosed with Autism and with that comes Appraxia of Speech, Sensory Input Disorder, and Mood Swing just to name a few. I have taken extra classes to better understand what my son is going through and want to help out other families with children who are going through the same thing. We do use the PECS system through out our house and daily lives.


I do offer home made meals and nutritious snacks along with 1% milk and Juicy Juice. I am willing to work with any kids that have special diets and as long as I know ahead of time I can make certain meals for your child. We also have a swing set, riding toys, and plenty of outside toys, including a climber, along with many inside toys and activities. We also do arts and crafts, coloring, playtime, circle time, I try not to get so high strung on keeping strictly to a schedule cause as we all know kids are kids and should be able to have fun.

If you have any questions that I didn’t cover don’t be afraid to ask. Rates depend on the age of the child and whether they will be here full or part time.

Wow. I am at a loss for words. First off, Chad Konrad is quite the douchebag. Quit trying to act as if you're someone important while dealing with a bunch of shitty cover bands. The main thing is that Hog Heaven agreed to pay 600 dollars and then cheated the band. Your breakdown of what the bar made that night shows nothing but your ignorance of how running a business really works. I suppose that if you were in said band, you would have been fine with the reason as to why you got paid 50% of what you were supposed to? Please. Name dropping other bands that have played there doesn't really help your cause. The band played, they should get paid. Go blow smoke up someone else's ass. I am glad I don't play in that bar or any other bar you are associated with.

Pop Punk/ Indie/ Alt Band looking for members (Fox Cities)

I'm currently trying to get a band started that will write and play music that falls into the Pop Punk, Indie, Alt Rock, Power Pop, Punk catagories, but of course is not limited to.

I'm 19 years old, and can play the Guitar, Bass, Drums and also Sing, and I am pretty expiernced in playing with bands and writing music. I also have all my own gear. I will play any insturment depending on the other memebers I find, however I would really like to play the Guitar or Drums for this band in particular. I think that's bullshit. An agreement is an agreement. If you, as a bar owner, agree to hire a band for $600 dollars and they show up and play as agreed upon then guess what? You OWE them $600. It's as simple as that. A bad night for a bar is not an excuse to stiff the band! Suppose the bar had a killer night and made $10,000 would they be obligated to pay the band more then the agreed upon fee? Nope. Being in business is tuff, but if you want to stay in business you honor your obligations. I won't be going to Hog Heaven any time soon!

OK first I would like to answer the Beware Of Hog Heaven Post. A lot of you that are reading this probably know me from the band Blend Seven, The Starrs, from a club I ran called Riders Saloon in Kimberly or the booking agency called New Revolutions Entertainment, or maybe you just know me from when I managed Hindsight Band or from running sound at EPS or Onstage Audio. Whatever the case may be. the post you read about Hog Heaven is by a band Called Cadillac Tramp. Funny thing about that post is that I have been doing business with Aaron from Hog for some time now and I only know of one band that has ever been shorted by them and its Cadillac Tramp. So my question to all of you that are in this business is at what point is the band accountable? Here is a short break down of the day in question at Hog Heaven.


They got paid (100%) of what was made in the bar from open to close. $300.00 Now you do the math on what Hog lost for the day.
25% Cost to generate (Product cost) $75.00
$10.00 pr. hour for 12 hrs. (Bartender) $120.00
$10.00 pr. hour for 11 hrs. (Cook/ Bar Back) $110.00
Now not figuring in taxes, utilities, Ascap/BMI Fees or the booze they drank for free that night. we already lost $305.00. Where Cadillac Tramp has no agent fee and no real production cost. So as a 4 piece band plus 2 helpers you profited $50.00 per guy less gas money. So you tell me who lost their ass that day.

I would love to know what other business you are in that as a sub contractor you can loose money for the buyer and expect to get paid. Hog Heaven did pay 50% of what was agreed upon.
Also for those of you that are questioning weather Hog Heaven pays their bills or not its really easy to find out, search Hog Heaven LLC on WI Clerk Of Courts and look for judgments pending. Also for those of you that are new to this. This is a really great way to decide if a room you are looking to play at is a good room or not (Free Advice From Me!) and I'm going to go a step beyond that today.
