What is up with some of these people asking 500 even 700 to rehome a dog that is crazy,

RE- Small homing fee

I agree! It clearly states that there are to be no sales, only small adoption fee. And making someone pay over 100 dollars for a dog, i don't care what kind, is a sale, NOT an adoption. I understand wanting to cover costs, but shouldn't you be more concerned with having these people being able to pay for food and toys and what not. Gimme a break! As a matter of fact, Give The Animals A Break!!!

I don't understand the "small" re homing fees. So what you people are saying is that if I cannot afford to pay you $100 OR MORE that I would not give the animal a good home??
It's hard when these animals come with NO shots, NO spay or neuter, NO supplies....why are you REALLY getting rid of your "beloved" family pet?
Thank you for trying to make ridicules money off of me because I WANT to love the pet that you no longer have "time" to love.
I can go to a shelter and get an animal for the prices some of you are asking and they COME with shots and ARE fixed, how much do you really "love" this animal that doesn't already have these things?
And why charge so much for them when you haven't spent anything on them??
I understand the need to know that your animal is going to a good home, but the re homing fees are crazy!! and how do we as buyers know that YOU in fact are the ones not providing a good home??
I mean come on....charging an arm and a leg for an animal that YOU NO LONGER WANT tells me that it's about the money alone.
How do we know that you are not the woman running around picking up free or cheap animals and re-selling them for profit?

I recently DID buy a dog from a lady on here and I DID pay $100 for him. He came without anything...but HE WAS 8 WEEKS OLD!!
So in my opinion if you want to know if the home is a good one, ask the buyer to let you come over with the dog and see the environment and how the family interacts with the animal.
Then hug and kiss the animal you can no longer keep for whatever reason, and GIVE him/her to the family.
Let them save the money to bring him to the vet and get the shots and food and toys and maybe even some training classes.
It's Thanksgiving time and every animal deserves to be loved....so find someone to do that since you can't!!

Great dog needs a home (Neenah)

4year old beagle lab mix witha sweet nature who love to play fetch and be a couch potato needs a home he is housebroken and crate trained nuetered and just needs his rabies shot.He loves dogs cats and kids does great on a leash and at the dog park he listens very well.
I just do not have the time he needs with my new job.
This is not an easy decision for me and I will ask a small rehoming fee to find the right home.

Found dog (Mackville/Greenville)

A dog has wandered in our yard yesterday and is still here today. It does not have a collar. It is a medium sized dog. Coloring is mostly black, with a half white face and neck, back legs are brown. We live just north of JJ and McCarthy Rd, on S Hample Rd. This is the area between Greenville and Mackville.

7 Month old Kitten (Berlin)

I have a 7 month old kitten that needs a home. My older cats are mean to her and my dogs chase her. She is locked up in a cage right now to ensure her safety. Due to craigslist warnings, I am asking a $10 rehoming fee for her. She is not fixed, and I haven't gotten her in for any shots. She will not come with any supplies unless you want the little litter box that I have in her cage right now. AS I STATED, I HAVE 2 OTHER CATS, SO I NEED MY SUPPLIES! She is a loving cat once she gets use to you. She is using the litter box in her cage, so I would say she is litter box trained. She is very playful. I hate to see her go, but I think it would be best. I have had her about a month and have tried to make it work.

Two Parakeets with cage/food/toys (Fond du Lac)

I have two parakeets that need to be rehomed. They were both born last May. One male and one female. They are bonded very well and will probably start having babies someday. The female is a yellow rare parakeet and the boy is yellow/green rare parakeet. I paid over $100 for everything, but our cat is always trying to eat them. He will get them eventually so I'm hoping someone will adopt them before he does. I would like a $25 rehoming fee but you'll get all you need to care for them. I believe I have about 20 pounds of feed left so you won't have to buy any for a year or two.

i have a feisty ferret home made by prevue pet products that was bought at pet smart.last thursday my ferrets that i bought were in a smaller cage so i decieded to buy a bigger one. i only had my baby ferrets less then a week. when we found out my husband was extremly allergic to them the cage was set up but never used. i paid 210 for it and asking 175 i dont know how but i lost my reciept and cant return it. so if your planning to adopt or purchase a ferret or ferrets this is brand new and very nice. im also have a litter pan bottle and bio oder ferret waste deodorizer and a big bag of zupreem premium ferret food for a extra 25 bucks the food cost me that much. if interested please call me or email me 920 385 7784 ask for jamie thanks

I would first check with the breeder of your puppy. All good breeders screen potential owners and are picky about who their puppies go to. They breeder may not accept another buyer. Any breeder that doesn't do proper screening is probably breeding poor quality puppies and just in it for the money. Good luck. I hope you find a solution and please don't bring home the puppy if it really isn't wanted just so you aren't out your money.

Wonderful Cat (Oshkosh)

Hi, I recently took in a cat from a friend who brought her in from outside. We named her Sammie and she ended up being pregnant when we got her! We went from having 3 cats to 8! Sammie is a very loving cat but she is just not getting along with my two other cats. She obviously is not spayed yet.....She has been to the vet, receiving her first shots and everything and is due to have her 2nd set some time in December. We are looking for a really good home for her, she is a wonderful and loving cat. She can handle 4 yr olds tugging and hugging with out getting mean (my daughter sure loves kitties!) I think that she would be happier in a home with no other cats or dogs. She is very tame for once being an outside cat! She kind of reminds me of a Snowshoe cat. I will post a photo below. I will be asking for a $20 re-homing fee that will cover her first de-worming and shots. Please give this beautiful girl a home! As of the 30th our family will be moving and I am not sure when we will get it internet again. I hope to maybe get a response by then. Thank you for taking your time to look. I do have to mention also, she is having a weight gain issue after she had her babies, we have talked to the vet about this and he said it was lack of nutrition before we brought her into our home. I can gladly obtain her records from the Omro Animal hospital too if needed.

He tried to trim our dog's nails with this and got through maybe three nails before giving up (our dog was not a fan). This is the only time this has been used. Need Small Animal Cages (Oshkosh)

Hi,

We recently adopted a degu which was given to us as a male, to be a friend to the male we already have. We now believe that was not correct, since he just had three babies. We are looking for small animal cages such as gerbil, hamster, mouse, rat or even bird cages to have for them once they get weaned. Then we will be looking for homes for them. We will hand raise them and handle them a lot so they will be very people friendly and tame.

If you are unfamiliar with degus, they are really neat little critters. Very fun, curious, friendly and active. Here is a link to info about them:
