AB Tech MATH-161 College Algebra Blitzer 5th ed. & Student manual incl (Asheville) $100

Hey,
I took this class for the first four weeks this fall and then had to drop it. Therefore this book is like new since it has hardly been cracked! Hardcover, comes w/ the Student Solutions Manual in a dashing pink color (or maybe it's salmon), but no access code for online stuff. You can get that online from the Prentice Hall/Pearson website, but I don't recommend forking over the money for that until your instructor says you need it. I think mine for Chemistry was $35 or something. Not toooo bad, but enough.

I don't want to take the trouble to get them all dressed up for picture day, they are not my children. Believe me when I say they are in perfecto condition, no writing, highlighting, tears, rips, bends, folds, creases, waves, ripples, stains, mold, warps, etc. There is a 1cm superficial scratch on the front cover. Blends right in with that attractive chili pepper on the front...

I think the sarcasm comes from my attitude about the class in general, if that tells you anything. Email me with your phone # to avoid scammers.

AB Tech CHM151: Chemistry, Brown, 11th ed/Lab Manual for CHM I & II (Asheville) $125

I took Chem 151 for 6 or 7 weeks and had to drop (thank you Lyme disease and the stupid tick who carried you), so this book is in excellent condition. It is not the hardcover, it is the Pearson International Edition softcover but the guts from page 1 to the end are identical. There's no writing or rips, I'm the first owner and I'm careful with my belongings.

The manual is the big spiral-bound one for General Chemistry I and II, not the little dinky supplemental one. It is also in great shape, but some pages are missing along the way since I intended to complete the course. I know someone who has it, and I can copy the pages for you for an extra $25.00. But if you want to do it yourself, please do. I even have a suggestion for you.

I'm offering them both for 125.00. The book alone costs $189.75 of you hard-earned cash at the bookstore, plus 48.75 for the Lab Manual, totaling $238.50 and completely ridiculous. 1921 Hard bound Collier's New Encyclopedia (near downtown Asheville) $40

This is Volume 6 ("Lomb--Ocelot") of a beautifully bound 1921 book. It is heavily embossed with flowers, leaves & tendrils. It has over 50 full page illustrations of various cities, parks, etc. (Has a wonderful photo of New York City and how it looked then). Also has 27 two page maps. A nice addition to a "traditional", old library, as well as of interest to antique lovers and the curious. It is not in perfect condition but fairly decent for being 90 years old!
I am easy to get to, near Downtown Asheville, and UNCA.
