We are interested in swapping our Biltmore Forest house for your beach house. Isle of palms, Sullivans or Mt Pleasant maybe. Ideally, the beach. We are open to a weekend or two or three weeks. We have three bedrooms. One childs room (double/twin bunks), one guest (queen) and one master suite (also queen), this master is amazing by the way.. Its huge. The house is pretty. An old Tudor with contemporary flair. We are 2 minutes to The Estate and The Village. 5 Minutes to Downtown. If you havent been to Asheville you'll have quite a time. People watching is most entertaining.
Amenities include: Flat screen tv's and proper accommodating stereos with surround and HD, DVR, DVD players etc. and Computers all about. There is a fenced in yard in the back for well behaved pups and a small covered back porch as well as front porch. There is a table in the side yard with a gas grill so as to dine under the stars and a wood burning fireplace in the living room to come in and warm up by.

We are thinking summertime, simply because the kids are out of school then.

We are both contractors, thinking about moving back to my "home" (Charleston) and trying to figure out a way to feel things out. We think swapping houses is a good start. Work includes web/advertisement design, technology assistance in UNCA, tutoring, labor-construction-handyman, art sales, etc.

I am looking for a place where I can live comfortably and setup a small studio to work on wax, plaster, etc. Ideally somewhere that allows me to circulate the air, and have water/electric access. I have some hand and power tools, but a lot of the heavy construction work gets done at UNCA. I am mindful of surroundings and work-sleep schedules so I don´t do anything noisy when its inconvenient. I am very clean and very organized with my materials and never leave a mess or spread around.

I like to wake up in the morning with coffee or tea, reading-watching-listening to news, and start the day with a good attitude. I will either be at home doing reading-writing-researching or doing that at UNCA´s library. Otherwise, I like to work on my sculpture/painting/home improvement projects.

I enjoy swapping stories, kicking it with a beer/etc., smoke ciggs outside, grilling, potluck-ing, hiking, building, running, playful debating, and movies. Clean, organized, and respectful.
I am fluent in Spanish and have experience teaching and caring for children, so if this of interest maybe we could try a work-trade.
I would like to find a place that is either close to downtown Asheville or West Asheville, giving me the option to walk not too far to the stores-restaurants-bars.

I would like to keep rent with utilities at 375 or less. If work-trade like child care, home improvement, web development, anything you can think of, sounds like an option, I would love to discuss hours and schedules.

I am a 27 year old woman currently battling with a mental/spiritual illness seeking a room for rent. I am also open to intentional communities that would welcome me.

Some of my interest have included travel, music, art, natural healing, camping/hiking/ being outdoors, reading.. I am also battling with a physical illness right now so it makes some of those things more difficult.
