Positive Blessings

Positive Blessings

You opened it, so you believe in Blessings too! Something good will happen to you between 12:00 pm and 9:00 pm tomorrow. No catch. It could happen anywhere or anytime; you will fix a relationship problem, or a financial blessing if that is what is needed, or something you lost will be restored to you, or just someone giving you a helping hand. To spread the positive Blessings, re-post this in another city in the next 10 minutes and see what happens in your life tomorrow. I believe. I hope you do too.

FRANKLIN NC REAL ESTATE IS SELLING FAST NOW - WHY? Mtg. Rates Fall! (FRANKLIN NC)

FRANKLIN NC REAL ESTATE IS SELLING FAST NOW - WHY? Mtg. Rates Fall!

Mortgage Rates in U.S. Fall to 4.87%

As a real estate broker, it's always fun to watch what excites other people. A real estate broker will get excited that he or she has a new listing, or a hot sales contract that is closing or perhaps a great referral from another agent, this list goes on. But what really gets me is to see the look on a bank officer's face when they come into the real estate office all excited over NUMBERS! Yes, NUMBERS! Numbers excite bankers all the time whether they are negative or positive.. Numbers is their world! This week I had a loan officer come into my office on "CLOUD 9", just so excited that rates have come down below 5% into the mid 4's! He actually got me on fire with his enthusiasum for the new rates! I began to tell him about how the home prices have come down to more affordable levels and that it is a "WIN-WIN" for everyone involved in real estate... from the banker, to the buyer, to the seller, to the agent, to the economy in general! The market in Franklin NC is ON FIRE right now... Phones are ringing, Buyers are buying, and Sellers are selling! It's just an all around great time to aquire that dream mountain home you've always wanted because RATES ARE LOW...HOME PRICES HAVE COME DOWN.. AND MONEY IS AVAILABLE... Come to think of it, I'm getting excited about "THE NUMBERS"! I'll SEE YOU IN MY OFFICE!

HOMES AVAILABLE IN FRANKLIN NC NOW!

By Brian Louis

Mortgage rates for 30-year fixed U.S. home loans fell for the second consecutive week, pushing borrowing costs to near record lows.

The average U.S. 30-year rate dropped to 4.87 percent from 4.94 percent last week. The 15-year rate was 4.33 percent, mortgage buyer Freddie Mac of McLean, Virginia, said today in a statement.

Falling rates helped boost home-loan applications last week to the highest level since May. The Mortgage Bankers Association’s index of applications to purchase a home or refinance rose 16 percent. Rates around 5 percent, slumping home prices and a government tax credit for first-time homebuyers are bolstering demand for housing. READ THE COMPLETE STORY HERE

Massage Therapy Licensing Vs. Freedom of Access Laws (Asheville)

I'm new to this area - I moved to Asheville in June.
I'm here to share something that I'm feeling very frustrated & sad about right now.

I graduated from the MN Center for Shiatsu study in 2002, with training in a number of healing modalities.
I did not get a license because, among other reasons, it cost hundreds of dollars to take the test, & I was living in poverty.
However, due to Minnesota's sweet Freedom of Access Law which stresses the rights of
consumers to decide whom they would like to provide their health care needs,
I was able to give years of blissful, healing bodywork to grateful clients.

Fast forward to life in North Carolina, where this is no longer the case.
Now, due to licensing laws, I can no longer offer my trained skills to those who would like to receive them.
So, instead, I search daily in the classifieds for what else I can do. I have applied for numerous jobs - all under $10 an hour -
sending in resumes, filling out applications, sending emails, making phone calls, etc.
I can't get even a $7.25 an hour job, the law disallows me to do what I do best, & obviously I can't afford to take the test!

I'm upset about this & the whole principle of the matter.
I don't want the government, the Massage Board, or anyone else to tell me whom I can & cannot hire for my health care needs.
If I want to go to the old woman down the street who learned the healing touch from her ancestors & never went to school,
who is to tell me I can't, that that isn't legal?!
Completing a test can tell all about what I know in my head - but nothing about the magic I can do with my hands.
That's what my teachers who gave me straight A's in school already did. AND, my clients in the Midwest could tell you!
That's not good enough here though - I have to have a lot of extra money to pay for folks who don't know me
& have never received my healing ways to say that it's okay for me to do this work.

If I had any extra energy - but it all must go to figuring out how I'm even going to manage to pay my bills -
I'd fight this law tooth & nail, promoting FREEDOM OF ACCESS for all of us.

Thank you for listening.
Peace & blessings to you for your attention.
