Tutors - Math & Reading (Athens)

Club Z In-Home Tutoring of Athens is seeking to add a number of highly qualified tutors to perform services in the greater Athens area, particularly to service the math/reading needs of Clarke County Middle & High School Students through the No Child Left Behind Program. Jobs available immediately (we have provided over 60 this semester as of 11/15). Your work with students will be 1-on-1, typically in the student's home (with parents present), and has flexibility in terms of your schedule.

Depending upon your background (at least 60 semester hours of college classwork), you may be eligible to provide services for students served by us through the No Child Left Behind program. Tutors working in this program are employees due to the requirements of abiding by specific guidelines. Certified teachers working with us in NCLB tutoring make up to $28/hr. For this tutoring, we generally need expertise in middle school math/reading and high school Math and/or English. We have immediate needs in this area.

Additionally, we have a private business side in which our tutors work as independent contractors, setting your own hours and schedule. We do all of the work in finding clients...you use your expertise to help a struggling student excel. Pay generally ranges from $15-18/hr.

Club Z is beginning our 4th year of providing tutoring services in Athens. During this time, we have worked with hundreds of students during thousands of hours of sessions. Assist a certified Montessori teacher with a small group of children ages 1.5 - 3.5.
You must be kind, patient and respectful with young children, very reliable and in good physical condition.

If you enjoy doing arts and crafts, music and movement with young kids and/or are familiar with Montessori teaching methods - these are all pluses!
