Fitness Assembly/Repair Tech (Athens/Parkersburg)

National assembly and repair company is seeking a qualified repair/assembly technician. Position is part time as needed. Duties include diagnosing, installing preordered parts at customers home on fitness equipment and massage chairs. We also assemble bikes in large retailers. Pay is per job. Position is as an employee. Must have own tools, internet access, cell phone, reliable transportation and be able to pass a drug screen and background check. Please email qualifications and resume. Dairy Farm- Milker/Feeder Position (Meigs County)

Dairy Farm Help Wanted: Milker/Feeder Position Open

Our 240 cow grass-based seasonal dairy operation has an opening for a person to milk and feed cows in the Athens Ohio area. Housing is provided as part of the pay: you must live on-farm. Training provided.

Duties-
Milk 10-times per week in our rapid-throughput New Zealand-style parlor March 1 thru Dec. 23. Mastitis detection and treatment. Keep parlor, milkhouse, and premises clean and compliant with Ohio Dept. of Agriculture regulations. Learn grass management and set pasture fences daily. Feed stored forage with tractor when grass is not growing. Keep holding lot at parlor clean. Maintain parlor chemical inventory.
• Calving: March 1 thru April 30. No time off- you will work a lot of hours, often in harsh weather.
• Winter: (Dec. 23 dry off until March 1) work on fenceline maintenance, feed hay.

Schedule-
Your work schedule will be determined weekly in co-operation with the manager, providing flexibility.
Compensation-
Pay $8 per hour during training; $9/hr when you can milk by yourself; $10 per hour when you are completely up to speed. The person you are replaces has worked 2000 hrs. so far this year.

This job requires the ability to work without constant supervision. The successful candidate must enjoy being outdoors, love and be gentle with animals, like to work alone, be physically and mentally fit, and possess emotional, physical, and mental stamina and toughness. This job centers around enjoyment of farming, pride in a clean, well-run operation, and a strong commitment to the success of the farm business, not just a paycheck. In other words, it is a lifestyle, not just a job.

This position is available immediately and requires a one-year commitment.
