Our third annual Musician's Community Swap Meet will be held on Saturday, November 14th, from 11am to 5pm!

This is an opportunity to sell, swap, trade, or just show off anything musical. Instruments, amplifiers, sound systems, CD's, records, tapes, or ANYTHING that's music-related. It was an opportunity to visit with other local musicians, look for a new band member (or a new band), show off your latest CD, and maybe even join in an acoustic jam session during the event.

Each individual (who registeres for a table) will be assigned an area to display their sale items.

For those without transportation, the Union Street bus will bring you right to the store. Click here to download the bus schedule.

Traffic was very heavy during the early afternoon hours. By 4pm, most people were calling it a day and getting ready for an evening gig. Many suggested we do it again and build on the success of our first event.

Hey!

We're Izzy and the Kesstronics, a band touring from Brooklyn, coming to town to swing for you.

We're based out of Brooklyn but we'd love to invite good local players
in to jam, have fun and make friends.

Our original music has some orchestration written out for it that we
can have you dabble in, but we also have a ton of great Old-School
covers. We're all pretty advanced players and can bust out 50's Rock n' Roll, Old Jazz, Swing, Rockabilly,
Honky Tonk, Bluegrass and even some old Punk.

If this sounds like you're bag, we'd love to meet you and play with you. Even if you are awesomely proficient at

FREE STUDIO TIME! (Nelsonville Ohio)

GREETINGS LOCAL ATHENS/NELSONVILLE/LOGAN MUSICIANS!

I am looking for a band to record for a school project to finish my degree in audio production. It will be a 4 song EP that you can use as a demo! There is only a couple of requirements.

1. Band needs to be more than just accustic. (In other words needs to have more than just a guitar and vocalist)
2. Able to record in the next week. (Recording needs to be done by November 8th)
3. Need to be seasoned and able to record 4 songs in two days with minimal errors.

I've been playing music for about 10 years now. I'm 20. I'm into rock, rockabilly, classic rock, alternative, funk, blues, folk. I want to make something new, play gigs (maybe a few covers), touch people (;P), and travel if we can. I sing, play guitar, bass, piano, trombone. I'm an audio production major here at Ohio University. I play with unbound energy and determination, think music is about emotion and expression, looking for someone along the same lines. I've played my fair amount of gigs, this aint my first rodeo. I'm i really chill and positive dude. hit me up, we can jam and see if theres some chemistry.
