RE SSi and dissability

I agree just because he is chopping wood doesn't mean he is not disabled but he had no mental stuff going on. If he can work full days cutting peoples yards , cleaning critter stalls, chopping wood loading and unloading big trucks of wood and doing other things why cant he work? Even part time? It just aggrevates me cause my husband has a real dissability and because of people playing the system it takes people with real dissabilities alot longer to get their dissability approved. I am married, have young kids, myhusband is disabled and I have major health issues and still work. I could probubly get dissability if I tried but I realize even though I am in pain all the time I have a family to take care of. It just annoys me that is all. That is why I am ranting on.

And then there are people, yes, people in this very county, who are unable to function as a normal human being unless they receive aid for conditions that are unquantifiable and uncalculatable by tests. Social security denied my brother, who has been permanently and physically disabled from birth, VISIBLY SO, for 5 years. I suffer from several mental illnesses, and am having an even harder time. Just because someone can chop wood and split logs does not mean they are not suffering from something that would greatly improve with the aid that comes with being recognized as having a disability. Some of us are only able to afford the medications we need to continue living by applying for disability and going through DJFS. I don't doubt that some people are, in fact, playing the system. But don't automatically assume just because someone is physically sound means they aren't disabled or differently abled.

I just want to rant about this. My husband is a young man 36 who has Muscular dystrophy and has worked hard jobs until his dissability started really bothering him. We have children and there is no cure for his disease or no real treatment. He applied for his dissability and it took 5 years. He was just approved after going before a judge this month. Why are they waisting time on people I personally know that say they are disabled but are just trying to play the system. They are out mowing peoples yards, roofing houses, splitting wood by hand and selling their pain pills for extra money instead of trying to get a job. And then there are others who are just drunks and druggies and they get it just because- I have no clue why. maybe you should get drunk pass out and say you are having seizures just so you dont have to work and can get SSI. That is what makes it so difficult for people with real dissabilities to get their SSI or dissability. People like these wasting time to try to get something they dont need or deserve. There- that is my rant.

ATHENS BULLDOGS (ATHENS COUNTY)

I will be the first to say I am so proud of our bulldogs, and very proud of the league, what a season. I was so proud of athens alexs nels trimble and sorry fed couldn't have been better. I can't believe all the ranting about athens coming to the tvc well guess what we had to be voted in and it seems that we were voted in hmmm. Athens as well as other schools don't recruit we are just another high school, I don't know the numbers but i'm pretty sure athens nels and alex compare pretty close on enrollment. I hate to say most the ranting I have heard was from nelsonville which is sad maybe they should join the seoal cause they have dominated the tvc for years and they are as big as athens if not bigger we don't have a field like a college who does hmmm we don't fight for the play offs every year who does hmmmm oh and I promise you athens DOES NOT cry when we play an away game in the mud who does hmmm well if you would have only wore the right cleats lol i've heard that so much its sick. if you need to play on million dollar fields to win maybe the tvc can cancel your games when its raining and muddy lol. This is a super set up the schools all so close so even and such a great season can we all just picture when a few of the other teams have great seaons as nels alex and athens did wow it could be a huge fri night everywhere for football. These are our kids these are our schools we pay for and believe in we should be so proud. The old saying still goes on any given fri night . we beat alex they beat nels you just never know. If we knew would it be fun to watch? I have never heard or seen so much hate toward athens I think its a sad day when a fat parent who probably never played a game ever in school can cry about his kids school. Tell me somebody please what was unfair about any game this year? Our kids start in 3rd grade playing football against eachother they advance each year I never heard any crying when my sons 3rd grade team when to the big game? The only differeance now is they are almost growen and here we sit crying but athens joining the tvc are you kidding me. Be proud of our kids be thankful we have football (some high schools don't as close as columbus even then its pay to play) our kids are lucky we provide well for our kids, get the enrollment numbers from three schools nels athens alex then tell me whats not fair please prove me wrong. You as well as others seen our school isn't what should I call it ready for seoal over the years for the ones who can't stop crying around is your school ready for seoal? I never seen so much spirt as athens nel and alex had this year i'm so proud of ALL our kids and the families that don't cry around just cause they lost a game . I would like to say I think it would be sooo much fun to gear up at nelsonville for a fun game on thier field and play to just see for ourselves who the league champ is why share a title. I think if everyone left the crying at home played there cause we already got beat here and just for us parents and fans have a fun game a big tailgate party and get along for once after all most of our sons and daughters will end up married to eachother lol lets show spirt for our kids not act like this is college or pros we are athens county we have some great football teams be proud I am telling you now if nels alex trimble fed meigs any of our teams were to be going to the state i'd be the first in line to cheer them on cause this is s.e. ohio we are football we have kids that eat and sleep football as well as parents would you do the same if it was athens going to state? If there were no bad calls if there was no chance in losing the game tell me why would there be a game? its a game of inches heart soul spirit and judgement by the refs not us please be proud of our kids don't show them how to hate a school thats 10 minutes away don't show them how to make excuses when they lose they lose cause its a game they win cause its a game. IT IS A GAME we all love or there wouldn't be a game!!!! thank you to all the fine coaches in s.e ohio and to all the great parents as well thank you you made my 8 weeks great weeks win or lose. i've been a bulldog all my life i'm 44 and I have alway been proud of everyone. Thank you again

Worst halloween ever :(

I am having the worst halloween ever, and I have to bitch about it. I want to get drunk, get crazy, have a good time. I was planning to do all this, and MORE! But this is the end of the month, so rent was due yesterday. I had my rent covered, with enough money left to have a rockin' time. But then I had to cover my bf's rent, too...Now I have 9 dollars left in the bank, and my halloween sucks. No booze. No cute costume. No candy, either :( This blows!!! Got invited to a sweet party in Circleville, but no way to get there. So I'm stuck here in A-town, where everyone else is having a great time. Worst halloween ever. I love my bf, but god, I wish he could pay his own bills.
