Junior and Senior Graphic Designer Positions (Augusta, Georgia)

Ocozzio is a full-service business improvement company headquartered in Augusta, Georgia. We specialize in marketing solutions, communication, consulting, and design. Our designers enjoy a fast-pace environment and are experts in their field providing our clients with Ocozzio's brand promise: "Something Better." Ocozzio has been in business since 2000 with a solid foundation of client relationships that our designers are able to gain knowledge and experience from.

We have a couple of Graphic Design positions to fill on a contract-to-hire basis. The chosen designers will work with us for 90 days and will be paid a TBD hourly rate. At the end of that time, if each designer proves to be a good fit at Ocozzio we will offer him/her a position to join the Ocozzio team on a full-time basis with excellent benefits. We are looking for both recent BFA graduates as well as more experienced designers to apply for these positions.

Candidates must have knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite as well as Microsoft Word & Excel. Candidates must also have excellent communication skills - both written and spoken.

Freelance Graphic Design (Augusta)

We are in need of freelance graphic designers to help us create unique t-shirt designs for new collegiate markets we are expanding to. We are looking for freelance graphic designers who can share with us our passion for bringing college students, alumni and fans one-of-a-kind t-shirt designs that cannot be found anywhere else. Freelance graphic designers must be experienced in design software such as Illustrator and Photoshop. Past experience with t-shirt design is preferred, as well as being able to submit examples of previous work. Senior Photographer (Augusta)

The Picture People is a specialty portrait studio focused on creating memories. By producing professional, creative and fun portraits and one-of-a-kind gifts that highlight what makes each family member unique, we've changed the face of portraits across America. We have over 170 studios located across the nation, and we are always looking for highly qualified candidates to come work with us.

We currently have an opening for a senior photographer for our local studio in Augusta (Augusta Mall-Studio #365).

Job Responsibilities
• Full Time-Non Exempt- 40 hour work week
• Majority of the time is spent conducting photography sessions
• Evaluates, critiques, trains and instructs photography
• Maintains all equipment (e.g., Lights, Cameras & Printer)
• General studio functions such as Opening and Closing, Banking, Selling, POS, Servicing all customer needs, Housekeeping, Assigned duties (e.g., workflow, associate duties)
• Quality of portraits; produces high quality portraits and monitors the quality for the studio’s photography
• Participates in the creation of studio photography
• Ensures printer is maintained at company standard by completing daily/weekly/monthly maintenance
• Ensures lights, cameras, backdrops and props are in pristine condition and set to company dictated settings/standards
• Instruction, mentoring, critiquing and coaching all photographers in location

Qualifications
• Minimum of two years experience with The Picture People or another volume portrait studio; or degree from accredited photography program
• Conducted or participated in 1,000 photography sessions
• Good employment standing
• Demonstrates understanding ability to apply principles of teaching
• Has completed and passed the 100 series of Photography College courses
• Submitted and has received approval of portraits demonstrating application in positioning, posing, lighting and composition
• Understands and applies principles of posing and the photography fundamentals
• Proficient and skilled in post production software utilized by The Picture People
