American Sign Language Instructor Needed (Augusta Ga)

We have a need for an instructor who can instruct a 20 hour introductory American Sign Language course to a group of adults in the Augusta Ga area.

Course content needs to:
Teach particpants the Manual Alphabet and hand signs used by the deaf with emphasis placed on survival signs for emergencies and simple, everyday conversation skills. Plus provide particpants with information about the American with Disabilities Act and the career opportunities.

We are a national training company and are looking for a dynamic, energetic, and self-sufficient instructor capable of instructing this course at our client’s facility after regular business hours M - F and possibly on Saturdays and would be interested in speaking with you regarding our training opportunity.

Successful candidates will be required:
• Determine course content and student learning objectives; determine methodology, prepare course syllabi, lesson plans, and student manuals as needed.
• Evaluate training materials and procedures and make or recommend revisions to meet new training requirements and keep courses up to date.
• Maintain accurate class records.
• Work with a local company representative and possibly the onsite reps to coordinate and roll out programs in an organized and efficient manner.

Minimum requirement:
• 2 years of teaching/instructional experience required
• Excellent verbal skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to be self sufficient and not reliant on supervision

Juniors Volleyball Club coach (Aiken, SC)

Volleyball Coaches needed for a local Junior Olympic Club in Aiken.

Magnum Volleyball Club (www.magnumvolleyball.com) is looking for qualified coaches to coach female athletes ages 10-18. Practice times are in the evening times from 6-9 PM two or three evenings a week with Saturday tournament coaching required 2 times a month. Compensation is a monthly salary during the season (Nov- March/April) based on experience.

Requirements:

To receive a paid position you will need coaching experience at the high school, college, and/or Club level. Playing experience at high school or college level is preferred but not necessary.

If you do not have coaching experience but you would like to coach and impact young people in a positive way we are taking volunteer positions with the possibility to coach next season after you have worked with one of our top coaches for a season.
