Wanted: Diagnosis on an '86 Ford Econoline van (Round Rock)

My '86 Ford Econoline van was running alright, but I used the front tank...which was a 'no-no' according to the previouse owner, and it has died a few times since then. Now for good. It has a new starter, solenoid, fan, fuel filter, but the engine isn't sparking. It does make an effort to start, but still no go. It's up in Round rock, and I mainly need a diagnosis, and maybe some work if i can''t do it myself..
I don't have much $$, last paycheck 50 bucks, but have another comin and am willing to pay or trade.
I am a fine art painter, tattooist, fire dancer, i do exellent portraits and am willing to trade housework baby sitting as well, just need a lil help.
