Wedding Photojournalist (Austin & Hill Country)

I am a photographer looking to break into the Wedding Photojournalist genre of photography. Photojournalist or reportage style differs from the standard, "posed", photographer directed Wedding/Reception way of doing things. I shot my brother's 1st wedding this way many years ago (before this "style" was in vogue), because my photographer pretty much ruined the atmosphere of my wedding, but mostly my reception. He was calling all the shots, which is not the way it should be. Your wedding should unfold naturally - I am there to record the event for posterity.

The Butler & The Maid (Event)

The Butler and the Maid show is a must for your next function, party, or corporate event.

The Butler and the Maid show is based on the interaction between a sophisticated well-to-do British gentleman’s gentleman and his wife, a street wise working girl from a not so well respected background. The Butler, blinded by his love for the Maid, seems unaware that his once impeccable standards are more than a little diminished.

The Welcoming Ceremony

Upon arrival, guests will be jointly welcomed by the Butler and the Maid. The Butler will then announce each individual guest as they enter the room. The hosts may wish to give prior information to the Butler on any guest needing a specialized announcement. Be prepared for a few mistakes and some unusual antics during the announcement process as his eyesight is failing, his hearing isn’t too good and he has lost a few of his marbles.

Dinner Service
The Butler and the Maid do not normally serve dinner or wait tables as this could be a complete disaster. During dinner service they simply make their presence know to the hosts and their guests. With prior arrangement the Butler can be available to make announcements at this time.

The comedy and music show
Once dinner is over, the guests can settle down to watch the Butler and the Maids hilarious comedy and music show. During the show, the Butler discreetly seeks continuous approval from the Maid as he performs hilarious songs and verbal renditions that he would once have considered vulgar and professionally inappropriate. When addressing the audience, the Butler attempts to remain calm and dignified as the Maid continuously harasses and interrupts him with her tacky remarks. He is also perhaps a little naïve as he continues to take advice from the Maid on etiquette, good taste, and proper behavior in America. He does his best to remain dignified in the many embarrassing situations that ensue from this unusual relationship.

Show time is approximately an hour and 30 minutes.

Experience the passionate sounds of Spain at your next event with Spanish Flamenco guitarist Randy Cordero. Randy began his training at an early age. He has studied both in Spain and in the U.S. with such prestigious guitarists as Rene Heredia, Roberto Castellon, Paco Garrigues "El Chatarrero", Chuscales, Jose Luis Rodriguez, and Domingo Rubichi. Randy's musical style is a blend of authentic Spanish flamenco with a contemporary influence. Randy as a solo flamenco guitarist can transport your guests to the heart of Southern Spain for a variety of settings such as ceremonies, cocktail hour, rehearsal dinners, etc… For an energetic and engaging entertainment experience, Randy can coordinate a full flamenco show with flamenco dancers, percussionist, and singer for a true representation of Spain’s flamenco. Randy is available for private parties, weddings, rehearsal dinners, receptions, cocktail hour, corporate events, birthday parties, grand openings, etc...

As a dedicated Flamenco Guitarist, Randy has performed throughout Texas, Colorado and Mexico and has collaborated with many professional flamenco artists and flamenco dance companies throughout these areas. As an accompanist, Randy has the knowledge to deliver a full flamenco show utilizing his years of experience working with flamenco dancers, singers, and other musicians. Randy has been featured on National TV commercials and on many local television and radio broadcasts including San Antonio WOAI Morning Show, Musica Suave 90.3 in Corpus Christi, and the Sonny Melendrez Morning Show, Fox 29 News.
