Now Hiring Coaches (Restaurant Managers) (Austin and Surrounding Cities)

Are you a "Coach" or a "Manager"?

Lets get one thing straight. A manager at your current job is probably one of the main reasons youre looking for another job. A manager is that guy who is the them when youre co-workers at your current job say Its us vs. them. A manager is someone who sits behind a desk and tells people what to do and when to do it.

At Pluckers, you arent a manager, youre a Coach. A Coach is that guy who spent an hour after every Little League baseball practice teaching you how to throw a curveball. Your seventh grade teacher that tutored you after school teaching you algebra, even though you knew she had her own kids to go home toshe was a Coach. A Coach stays at the restaurant until 6:00am helping an employee get through a bad breakup with her boyfriend.

So what makes Pluckers so great? Well, first of all you get to work for a company that was named 4th Fastest Growing Company in Central Texas by the Austin Business Journal, so there is plenty of room for advancement. Also, you get to work for a restaurant that guests are passionate about...we were voted Best Sports Bar by Austin CitySearch in 2007 and voted Best Wings and Best Delivery by the readers of The Austin Chronicle in 2008, not to mention, we have been named Top 50 Fastest Growing Companies in Austin by Austin Business Journal.

WIIFM or What's In It For Me?

So we've got you sold that we are a great company, so of course you are wondering how a truly exceptional company compensates its coaches. Keep in mind that when we polled our coaches, they mentioned money as the fourth most important factor of why they worked for us. Appreciation for the work they do, being "in" on things and help with their personal problems were the top three in case you wondered. Here are a few reasons if you are a superstar, you would want to work for Pluckers:

1. Our salaried coaches are also paid among the restaurant industry's top compensation earning total, compensation of $27,000 - $45,000 for those with significant restaurant management experience.

2. We are actually a real, live growing company. That means that you don't have to wait for someone to quit or be fired for you to advance. We will probably open stores faster than you can be ready for promotion.

3. All salaried coaches are given 2 weeks of paid vacation and an additional week of personal time from the first day they start.

4. All coaches are eligible to participate in a health benefit plan that is among the restaurant industry's best.

5. Last, but certainly not least in the mind of our current coaches (hence why they all gain 10 pounds in their first month) is that you get free meals at Pluckers! Come on, who cares about everything else, you get free food at Pluckers!

So ask yourself, do I want to be a manager or a Coach? If you want to be a Coach, kindly send your resume to employment@pluckers.net or visit www.pluckers.net and complete an application. Must have at least 2+ years of restaurant management experience. Oh yeah, by the way, we will check your references so be sure youve got some good ones on there and if you don't complete the application 100%, please don't expect to hear from us!
