POSITION SUMMARY:
Operate field compressor stations, pipelines and dehydration equipment with responsibilities according to accepted policies concerning safety, housekeeping, and efficient operation. Perform various duties involving pipeline and compressor station maintenance.
ROLES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Record compressor and engine temperatures, pressures, flows and test results.
- Make operating changes necessary for safe and efficient operation.
- Perform periodic tests for process chemicals used in the operation.
- Relay operating/safety problems or concerns to supervisor.
- Perform pipeline pigging operations as scheduled.
- Locate pipelines for one call requests and maintenance activities.
- Monitor moisture analyzers and make operational changes when required.
- Monitor fired vessel equipment.
- Operate Vapor Recovery equipment and liquid handling systems.
- Perform filter changes, general maintenance and housekeeping for all facilities.
- Perform periodic pressure surveys on gathering system and coordinate drip removal activities.
- Communicate with Hess production and third party operators when it is required.
- Assist maintenance in pipeline maintenance and repair when required.
- Adhere to written operating procedures for shutdown and startup of equipment.
- Adhere to lockout/ tagout procedures in preparing equipment for maintenance work.

Individual must be a motivated self starter, extremely reliable, and available on weekends if needed. Must be able to work independently and alone, with some supervision.
Previous experience with laboratory instrumentation is a plus but not required.
