About three weeks ago I found this dog outside my house. She is very sweet and she is house trained. Also I took her to the vet and she has now had her shots and I found out that she has been spayed. RE: found puppy looking for a good home

I can't tell for sure, but this sure looks like a coyote pup to me. I have raised a few and know what they look like. The first give away was the color over his back, then his HUGE ears. Do a google images search on "coyote pup' and you will see what I mean. I hope I am wrong, because if it is a coyote he is probably sick if you are able to handle him like that. Don't know the circumstances under how or where he was found, and I do not want to come across as a know it all, just an observation.

Strat-O-Matic Baseball - ever hear of it? (Bakersfield)

I am one of 8 members of a local Strat-O-Matic baseball league, and we're looking for new members to join the league. We meet just about every weekend to play anywhere from 3 to 6 games. We play a 126 game season over the course of a year. You aren't required to make all of the meetings - they're optional - so long as you keep up a decent pace of games with the league throughout the year. Female German Shepherd "Have you seen me?" REWARD! (Bakersfield )

About a year and a half ago we moved out of state leaving our nearly 3y/o Sable German Shepherd with a family friends relative. We had though it was an excellent home with a family who owned another Shepherd as well. We learned that they moved and left her behind in Aug. 2008 when we moved back into state and went to go visit her after calling their numbers and whoever answered denied having owned her. We don't understand why they would do this, we had given them our update infromation and made it clear if things didn't work out that we had several temp homes she could have gone to. The next renters of the house let her stay, but when she had a litter of puppies, they dumped her and her 9 pups at "the lake?" saying they seen a lady in a blue "Mustang?" pick her and the pups up. they said this was sometime in the Winter, but they couldn't remember if it was before the new year or after. Naomi will be 4 this Thanksgiving weekend and we dearly miss her and would love to have her back with our family no matter the condition she is in. We understand that with the time that has passed the chances of finding her aren't good, and also understand that if someone has taken her in they may not want to give her up. As much as we want her back, we also just want to know what happened to her, good news or bad. So if you have seen our girl, know someone who has her or any infomation please, PLEASE contact us. More pics available. We now live about 4 hours from Bakersfield, but will drive out there as soon as possible to at least see her or take her home if her new family is willing to part with her. For those who read this and are thinking of re-homing a pet. . . No matter how nice of a home you may think you leave your pet with, you really never know. REWARD for her safe return to our family. LAX to Bakersfield evening 11/25?

My flight is scheduled to arrive at LAX at 7:50pm. I know it's a long shot especially the day before Thanksgiving, but i would sure give a lot of thanks and some gas money for a ride that night. I have been in child care for a few years now and I have advertised in so many places and to be honest with you the economy is hurting us providers. Calls are down and have been for awhile. There is really no advice to give except for "good luck" because I don't really think there is anything that can be done to make that phones ring more. It is hard to get clients and to keep them because so many people are losing their jobs and can't find new ones. You just have to be patient and hope things will pick up soon.

Family Dog in Need of Wheelchair. Please Read. (Bakersfield)

Rico is a family dog to everybody. The kids, and all off the grandkids love him. He recently became crippled, and we do not have the money to buy him a wheelchair. We looked it up and the dog wheelchairs are around $200. We do not have that kind of money. He became paralyzed in his back legs and he drags them around, so we had to put him in a dog kennel. We aren't asking for someone to buy us a wheelchair, but we are asking for people to help us out. If you have a used wheelchair that you don't use anymore, donate it, please. Any kind of donation will help out. For Christmas, we just want Rico to get better.
