Saturday December 19th we have our 5th annual Toy drive at sonic Drive in on Olive Dr & Roberts Ln. from sonic we go on a parade through the community. Hundreds of children and families we be lining the streets to see all the Dragsters, Hot rods, Motor cycles, and other vehicles that will be participating. The parade will end at North high School. At North high there will be a Show and Shine with 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place trophies as well as club plaques. Live music, food , vendors, drawings, and other great activities. What really makes this event a hit is that nine schools are referring there children to a Christmas program. Were they will receive a hot meal, hear the sounds of the holidays. and after the program the children will receive all the gifts and the food baskets that we gather through our efforts. This year the National Guard will be distributing the toys.This years Two guest speakers will be KERO 23 News Rusty Shoop and Mark Christian. There is a lot in store we need your help to provide new toys, food boxes, and hot meals for this event. If you know someone that would like to help sponsor food baskets, or hot meals give me a call.
