7:30 a.m Friday, November 13th, Large long haired white dog spotted in grass area near the bike path at Mohawk and Truxtun. Looked like he/she was wearing a collar. Stolen JVC camera (Rosedale (Icicle creek))

Our toyota truck was broke into late last night/early this morning, the theif crawled through the sliding window at the back of the cab, rifeled through paper reciepts and left with our video camera. The camera was a wedding gift from my sister and now that I am 5 months pergnant I was really looking forward to using it to document the life of our first born son. The camera has footage of mostly my brother in law's Tehachapi High School football games and my husbands snowbording trips.
So, my plea to residents of rosedale: If you know who has our camera, see someone who has it, or if you are a parent whos child was out last night please look through their rooms or backpacks. We would like to have our camera returned to us unharmed.

Stolen scion xb (East Bakersfield)

Sunday morning at 10:06 AM our 2006 scion xB was stolen right out of our parking lot. Someone broke into our home while we were asleep and took my husbands wallet and our keys and our car. They also stole mine, my husbands and my 18 month old daughters social security cards. They got caught on video taking the car and they are three Hispanic teens about 18 or 19. Male Golden Retriever missing since July 14, 2009 (4141 Teal Street Bakersfield )

Our beautiful male Golden Retriever Titan has been missing since July 14, 2009, when he dug out under a fence at 4141 Teal Street, Bakersfield (White Lane and Hughes Lane area). He was probably scared by fireworks or another loud noise. He is terrified of noises like this! He is a darker reddish colored dog, 75-80 lbs. with a large head and more slender, muscular body. When last seen he was unneutered and wearing a red collar with pawprints on it. He is now 7 years old but very lively and acts like a much younger dog. He has a noticeable black spot on his tongue (not uncommon in Goldens) and an overbite, which our vet noticed. He loves people and other dogs and is very friendly. He's our family pet, and we miss him! FOUND Cat, Grey striped with bobtail, friendly (Ridgecrest 93555)

FOUND in Ridgecrest, vicinity of Las Flores Elementary School.

Grey striped cat, appears to be neutered male. Has bobtail like a Manx. Very friendly and gets along with dogs. He's been in and out of my backyard for about a month or so now. My three cats don't like him, I feed them outdoors and he's been eating out of their food bowls.

He seems as if he's been an indoor cat because he waits at the door as if to be let in.

I found a light tan male chihuahua on 11/4 inside El Adobe Estates near Panama and Akers.
I was told a neighbor had found the dog before he came into my yard so he has been missing for awhile.

Found Bull mastiff (Mojave Desert)

The Story go's : I'm a field mechanic and my shop is in Bakersfield, on Nov 3, I had a service call to go to Trona which is about a 130 miles from Bakersfield, I got off of 58 Hwy at the Mojave off ramp and headed North to the 14, like I'm going to Ridgecrest, most of the time that is the route that I take, but on Wednesday I decided to take a different way, I turned on a road about 2 miles past the first store you come to on the 14, it runs into the 395, but I can't remember the name of the road, about 40 miles down this road I found this dog sitting by a railroad crossing out in the middle of nowhere, it was about 40 miles to Trona and about 30 miles to Ridgecrest and I mean there was nothing out there! I didn't have time to stop, but on the way back I did, I had stopped at the store in Trona and pick up something to feed the dog if it was still there, I was hoping the dog was going to be gone, but she wasn't, I think some one dumped her off out there to die. I couldn't leave her out there, I was able to make friends with her and found out she is just a big teddy bear, real lovable attitude, I think her breed is Bull mastiff..If I had the room I would keep her, she really likes my 9 year old but we have 3 dog and there is just no way I can keep her.I will give this add a week to see if the owner is out there but if not I will give here to who ever can give her a good home, she looks like she about 3 or 4 years old!

Lost Dog (white standard poodle) (SW)

Our dog Ozzy got out of our yard on Saturday morning. He is a white standard poodle, we haven't had him groomed in a while so his coat is long. He is almost 3 years old. He just had a bath and we didn't put his collar back on him. The picture is about a year old, and he was just groomed. He is VERY nice and loves kids. Our 2 year old son misses him like crazy. We are around the Buena Vista/Campus Park area. If you have any info please let me know, I would really appreciate it.

Lost Jack Russell (7 Oaks Deer Peak and Grand Lakes Area)

We lost our little Jack Russell Chewy on Monday evening. He disappeared from our back yard and is not wearing a collar due to a sore on his neck. We miss him very much and hope someone will find him. He is mostly white with black spots and a black and brown patch on his eye. He is super friendly and loves people.
