Bolthouse Farms is currently seeking an Equipment Operator for our State of the Art Facility. This opening is for 3rd shift and pay is based on experience.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to formally and informally present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, and fellow workers.
• Able to work with mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and conversions.
• Able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions in a systematic fashion.
• Able to interpret technical instructions from equipment manuals and documented instruction sheets.
• Able to quickly understand the mechanical function of food processing equipment.
• Must be able to read and write English.
• Requires Forklift Certification
• Will be expected to work overtime and weekends when business need arises.

The following job description is a brief summary of the position:

• Maintains logs of instrument readings, test results, and shift production and sends production information to computer databases.
• Communicates processing instructions to other workers.
• Monitors material flow
• Sets or adjusts machine controls to regulate conditions such as material flow
• Monitors plant processing equipment via interactive computer interface.
• Communicates changes in product flow, equipment speeds and/or settings to appropriate plant personnel.
• Anticipates product and process changes to make necessary adjustments in order to maintain the highest quality of product.
• Performs basic maintenance on plant equipment including changing filters, changing oil and replacing parts.
• Cleans plant using industrial vacuum and pressure hose.
• May maintain plant schedule of breaks and lunches.
• May provide leadership and training in the areas of Employee Safety, Process Control, and Product Safety.

($1.50 3rd-shift differential)

Qualifications
Candidate must be able to lift up to 50lbs and have strong math skills. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
