* Participate in market planning and product development
* Work with editors in identifying reviewers and content author candidates at key schools to maximize sales
* Recommend changes and improvements in assigned product lines through data gathered by contact with the field staff on campus travel and convention attendance
* Identify Top Targets and design and implement collaborative plans for CRM activity with, and conversion of, such targets
* Develop training materials/manuals for sales representatives. Working with sales management personnel, train new representatives regarding MHHE product, competition, curriculum and issues and trends
* Develop and participate in presentation of product training on messaging and features at all sales meetings
* Provide assistance in closing business through personal visits with the sales representatives in key adoption situations, and on-campus or virtual presentations
* Answer customer and sales representatives' inquiries
* Supervise efforts of Marketing Coordinator or Specialist in marketing and promotion of specific product and in support of assigned lists

Qualifications

* Bachelor's Degree preferred
* 3 years marketing, sales or editorial experience in publishing is necessary
* Experience in the higher education industry strongly preferred
* Proven analytical and project management skills
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written.
* Approximately 30% travel required

With Crime rates going through the roof and unemployment on the rise, the security alarm industry is booming. Here in the Central Valley we have opened up a new branch and are actively accepting applications. We have many sales and technical positions available and within months will also have additional office staff positions.

Every day I talk to neighbors and customers who have been laid off and are accepting jobs at pennies compared to their previous salaries. Currently the average price customers pay for an home security system is anywhere from $600-$800 dollars, with our promotional team here in the central valley we are allowed to install those same alarm systems from $199 down to $0. What this means for our customers is that they are getting the best deal possible. What this means our Sales Reps and Technicians is that you have something that everyone wants, at a price no one else can match. In other words, it really is one of the easiest sales you will ever make.
